Filmora video editor - simple and works well for beginners
Overall Satisfaction with Filmora
I am an NLP Coach and Trainer. I create videos for YouTube and social media. I also create reels and shorts. Earlier I had to shoot the video and send it to the videographer to edit it: to add intro and outro, add captions, add transitions, add B-roll, add images, and text with effects and animations. Besides this I needed to cut the video appropriately to create reels and shorts from the long video. The videographer would charge very high and besides that it was a time consuming method. Since Filmora is easy to use and now equipped with AI, life has become easy.
Pros
- Add intro and outro
- Add transitions and effects
- Create short videos from a long video
- Has a huge library of assets
Cons
- The wlecome screen could be more beginner friendly
- The timeline operations could be more beginner friendly
- There is no facility to copy and apply the settings of one project to another.
- I have saved a lot of money and time by not outsourcing the work to the videographer
- I have started posting more on social media by repurposing the long videos using Filmora's "Smart Short Clips" feature
- Now, any idea can be quickly converted into video using Filmora's "An Idea To Video" feature. It is just like Google's "Veo 2"
Firstly, Adobe Premiere Pro's price is too high as comapared to Filmora's price. Secondly, Adobe Premiere Pro is not easy to get started. You need to invest a lot of time to learn it. It also reauires more powerful computer whereas Filmora's requirements are not that high. The Movavi Video Editor is not as feature rich as Filmora.
