Foundation Software Construction Accounting vs. Plooto

Does not have employee facing portal where employee can update info. Does not have part to do onboarding, hr, etc. Payroll is wonderful and more efficient. Pulling reports is amazingly easy. Building reports is easy

I only use Plooto to collect monthly payments from my clients. They set up a pre authorized debit agreement, I schedule the monthly payment, and that's it. Payment from my clients are processed automatically - I don't need to do anything further. Should something change, it is very simple to make adjustments, pause or cancel client payments.

It was decent to implement. It's been pretty easy at training others. Really easy to connect to their computers

Support is usually pretty great. Most of the time return calls to tickets logged are fairly quick. Most everyone is knowledgeable and helpful

I did not have a hand in deciding the software, but for our company is has not
led to increased productivity or made things easier. It has been more difficult
for payroll to be inputted correctly and the payroll reports for certified
payroll often come out incorrect and we need to manually figure out how to correct
the issues and get them in correctly

I find that Plooto has been much easier to use and set up than PayPal Payments. I also like Plooto's flat rate pricing. Basically I never have to think about how I am going to get paid every month and that is very important to a small business like mine.
