I tested Google's testing platform before using Zarget and found it quite difficult to set up tests and doesn't give as much insight. I only used the free version though. Zarget definitely fairs better in comparison.

Zarget is on pace with the three competitors that we have used in the past, and excels because of how dynamic the platform is compared to products like Crazy Egg where you have to refresh URLs each time an update is made.

Pros
  • Ease of use - you really don't need much of a prior knowledge of testing to get started with Zarget.
  • Fast setup and integrations - we were ready to go within a day. Same goes for integrations. All you need is a permission from an account owner and webmaster to place the code within the source code of the website.
  • Good support - very responsive when something goes wrong.
