Posist is a B4B (Business-for-Business) company partnering with global restaurant chains in their digital transformation via its restaurant technology platform. Posist's unified technology platform streamlines restaurants' front of the house, back of the house, out of house/integrations, analytics, and CRM.
It is a great system. I love the functionality, the ease of operation, and the custom reports (my favorite part). We can set certain functions for the store levels, and more functions for the corporate level. Inventory controls and costs are almost immediately updated, with very little lag time. It is pricey, and when we signed up it was only done with a once a year payment. Other programs we pay monthly.
POSist is designed keeping fine-dine in mind and it shows. There are multiple options to configure the system as per the operations and shifts, which helps in managing light and heavy hours effectively. Capabilities need to be further improved for managing cloud kitchens through integrating more online delivery aggregator platforms
We have a support representative, and whenever I've needed help customizing a report, or some numbers aren't coming through correctly, they are only one email away. It's very timely in response. They can view our system from the backside, and have fixed problems for me with integration or just a formula wrong in one of my custom reports.
PeachWorks is far more comprehensive than TouchBistro. TouchBistro is more focused on allowing customers to take orders tableside. This is an important strategic initiative by many of our franchisee clients but we have found that the software is fairly limited beyond this functionality. TouchBistro does not integrate into the entire restaurant's operations so a restaurant must also purchase and install additional software.
POSist is easier to use and has quite an intuitive interface so training staff on system is quite easy. Local integrations with delivery aggregators helped in reducing manual efforts in logging online orders in the system. Inventory and recipe management is more detailed in POSist that it's competitors. Analytics on varience and month on month wastage report is superb.
