Gravity Forms vs. MaritzCX

Gravity Forms is fine for general use such as a contact form. It is not suitable for using in conjunction with their PayPal Checkout add-on.

I think MaritzCX was a great option for internal and external surveys. I used it for feedback from clients who attended events. It gave me a clean report to show executive leadership about anything from venue, parking, food, and entertainment. It worked for event registration to save money using only one software. I used it for clients to sign up for events. Less of a clean report but works.

• Their PayPal checkout does not work as described.

• Ability to customize look of survey limited
• Some reports in CSV were a mess to fix up

Because I lost hours of time (revenue) trying to figure out why their PayPal Checkout add-on wasn't sending the correct data to PayPal. Although I followed Gravity Forms documentation and also reached out to support.

• I recommended Gravity Forms to a client that accepts subscription payments online. After purchasing the plugin and the PayPal Checkout add-on, I spent hours and hours trying to get it to sync correctly with PayPal. It never did, so I ended up using PayPal's built-in buttons. Which defeated the whole purpose of purchasing Gravity Forms and the add-on. Gravity Form's support tried to help, but had no explanation as to why the PayPal checkout add-on wasn't working.
