Who Buys & Uses Gravity Forms

Poor Add-on Compatibility and Support

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used Gravity Forms to meet client goals on their websites.

Pros

  • Gravity Forms seems to do well with accurately sending form submissions to recipients.
  • Gravity Form's Drag & Drop builder is easy to use.

Cons

  • Their PayPal checkout does not work as described.

Return on Investment

  • I recommended Gravity Forms to a client that accepts subscription payments online. After purchasing the plugin and the PayPal Checkout add-on, I spent hours and hours trying to get it to sync correctly with PayPal. It never did, so I ended up using PayPal's built-in buttons. Which defeated the whole purpose of purchasing Gravity Forms and the add-on. Gravity Form's support tried to help, but had no explanation as to why the PayPal checkout add-on wasn't working.

Gravity Forms the simple solution to save you time and money

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used to use fillable PDF forms for our customers to fill out to get us information about themselves or to sign up for ACH. When JAVA went away, the forms didn't work as well, so I searched for a new solution and found Gravity Forms. It works on the back end of our WordPress website and has been wonderful! I love how easy it is to create a form and then use a clickable link for people to fill it out. I love that you get an email when someone sends in a form and you can export all of the results. I use it mainly for two forms but have used it several other times for other items and it has been great. Recently I wanted to do more like create a survey so I upgraded to the Elite Version and got more features. I can now do more with the software. I just wish I had more time to learn more about what it offers. I know I could do even more if I had the time. I would recommend people try this. It is simple, easy and works with your WordPress sites. It has made my life easier and I looked great to my boss when I found the software.

  • given me more oportunites to create simple forms
