HotGloo vs. Ideanote

Overall, I am happy with HotGloo. It supports and fits well into my workflow. Here, I use HotGloo mainly during the prototyping scale. More preciously for wireframing. Eventhough, there are other tools - which I also use in subsequent steps - that would support wireframing as well, I like HotGloo and will keep using it during this stage. This is mainly because I think the elements and symbol library has just the right depth and detail for wireframing. It is important in wireframing to not include to much detail yet. Otherwise, testers get distracted by design aspects. Therefore, I like HotGloo and us it for different Product and Service design projects.

Best suited: In focused, facilitator driven idea noting or discussion session. Less suited: There is no force factor to get users to come back to the mission or page once the session is over. There is no what happens next driver for Missions.

• It is not overloaded. Clear to finish the things in mind.
• It is flexible to the Team and the upcoming crowd
• The design is very impressive and we love it
• So we can link simple to it from our page
• In my opinion it is an alternative to this normal roadmap

• More videos in terms of tutorials and use cases.
• Success stories of how companies used Ideanote to supercharge their innovation.
• The new Zapier integration is a good step but I would like to see more native integrations with popular SaaS products.
• Expensive - if not for finding it in an AppSumo deal it would have been hard to afford.

Being able to export the finished wireframe to HTML was a huge time saver for me and my team. Getting to that next step quickly and seamlessly was a massive help. Not only that, but other tools that do this, we have not as much luck. HotGloo's functionality was a step above the others.

None. This is the only idea and innovation management software I use for our internal processes and we soon plan to use this for our future lined-up services.We have tried GERU in the past but that is a visual mapping software and does not really help in managing proper communication between guests and internal team members.

• Quicker lead time in testing interactions with latest designs.
• Shorter build time through use of standard branding.
