Hubble vs. SAP Profitability and Performance Management

I like the real time aspect of the Hubble reporting. I can have checks run and then immediately go into Hubble and run a check backup report, import it to Excel and send off to people who need it right away. It's great to be able to have updated records at the touch of button.

SAP Profitability and Performance is well suited in an organization/scenario where it aims to grow their profitability and optimize their business performance. It will offer strong financial analytics that are applicable in modern organizations and it will assure improved performance and enable purposeful marketing of your goods/services at prevailing profitable rate.

• Ease of use - very straightforward, can start using the product on day 1.
• Power - very fast and accurate data retriever.
• Great customer service.

• Data enrichment (complex joins, lookups, and derivations).
• Complex allocations and calculations.
• Operates at a very high speed without disrupting the host HANA environment.
• Connectivity to BW HANA and BPC.

• When you drill down to a linked report, it doesn't run automatically unless you set the users settings to automatically run all reports when opened.
• Named user licensing.

• We were forced to train some of our staff a bit as they faced various hurdles before getting familiar with the platform and using it efficiently.

We have been using Hubble for almost 10 years and it has not let us down.

We did get excellent support from SAP during our implementation project. We will see about the SAP support over the long term.

I haven't used any other tools like Hubble.
