Clarify before hand any additional charges for remote hand and arrangement/SLA for remote hand. Negotiate well on these terms as they tend to be more flexible around this. Clarify shipping and handling charges if any.

• More tech support may make it easier as it is only limited to be done via company representatives
• Overhead cost for replacements and services looks like it is high compared to others
• Integration with other cloud based application will be great

• San Jose facility power outage caused damage to company's credibility, this should not occur again being 7x24 facility and backup generator
• Avoiding too many management changes will help create good connection with individuals for sustained harmony

Netezza is sufficient against similar products. It comes down to personal preference, I'd love to have the data objects popping up as I type but some people may not like it.

Navisite's rates were better and they seemed to have more SQL Server expertise. This was about 5 years ago and it may not be the case anymore

• The appliance is all in one so we have all licenses and support contracts under one roof.
• The cost is expensive so ROI may take time to be realized.
• If done correctly, then Netezza provides the opportunity for huge ROI.

• Cost savings by not having a full-time DBA on staff - saving of at least 50K a year
• Data team not on call 24/7
• Navisite team will try to fix issue if possible - e.g. shrink log files that have grown
