ImportYeti vs. LeanDNA

This tool proves invaluable in grasping the landscape of market participants and their interactions. Nonetheless, its ability to decipher market players and dynamics remains a strong asset for our business. We can rely on this tool to navigate the market terrain and gain a competitive edge.

LeanDNA is a simple to use system, easy to implement, and has a very customizable analytics engine. As I continue to learn more about the dashboard I learn more of capabilities such as creating tasks and or lean projects. This is a one stop shop for all project management that is a capability you can use without even connecting your ERP to the system.

• PowerQuery tool lets you export for further analysis

• Wish the ability to download I information was available
• Wish their was an availability to search by category (ie copper cookware; cutlery etc
• Being able to more easily see who else a supplier manufactures work with as helps you understand quality being produced

• Updates disappearing from time to time.
• Make it easier to copy and paste to multiple sections.
• Simple google search type box.

We had tremendous support from all of our account managers. The company was so keen on their customer feedback that the CEO, head of operations used to join our calls to get our feedback

The implementation process went very smooth. The upfront work from LeanDNA providing mapping data needed for our specific ERP system made the initial implementation seamless. After the data was collected the data validation process was very smooth. LeanDNA has a process that they follow in order utilize the time of the users efficiently. They provided step by step instructions on validation.

ImportYeti is aimed for simplicity and cost effective solution. Many of its competitors provide a wide range of solutions, with a much greater price point. If you need a complete range of solutions, you may consider other options. ImportYeti is great in its scope, for querying the information regarding US imports. Is structured and really easy to use.

We have looked to test and pilot other tools and platforms but have not implemented as we down selected to use LeanDNA as the preferred tool.
