Mirakl Marketplace Platform allows users to manage a network of third-party sellers whose products or services are featured on their online marketplace. Mirakl's API is designed to allow users to easily integrate product supply information from sellers into their eCommerce solution (such as Hybris, Magento, Demandware, etc.). After being launched with eCommerce application, Mirakl's software can be used to onboard new suppliers, expand product catalogs, and manage customer care.
They are very strong in European enterprise hosting solutions. Less so with US-based organisations, as they have no footprint in North America. They are a popular solution for organisations wanting to host their digital assets in Ireland as they are much easier to deal with than their main competitors. They do not seem to suffer from cultural identity in the same way that some US-based competitors do.

If you have a successful webstore with high traffic it could make sense to think about in expanding the business to other vendors by creating a marketplace (just like amazon). You'll charge a commission on the products sold in your website by other vendors, and that way you'll have a wide range of products to offer to your users. To do this, Mirakl is the software to use.
Interxion's staff in Ireland are top class, customer-centric, friendly and knowledgeable.
Interxion pays a lot of attention to keeping their customers happy by engaging socially with them at their own marketing events and other industry events. INEX and Interxion shared a Christmas Party last year as many of our members and their customers overlap.

I am not aware of any shortcomings. I am sure that I would be aware if INEX operations staff were experiencing any problems. Similarly, I have only heard good things about them from our members, though there will always be some that think that they should be paying less for hosting services.

Difficult to say. Our presence in 3 Interxion data centres is mainly driven by our members wanting to host their digital assets in those locations. However, as a not-for-profit association, INEX is pleased that they treat us very favorably with regard to charges, in recognition of the fact that having our presence in their facilities draws new customers for them.
