Invoice Ninja vs. Procurify

I think Invoice Ninja is well-suited for small businesses or freelancers with this software you can track your expenses bill and get paid using a friendly user interface, it is easy to set and configure. They have a paid version but with the open-source self-hosted version it's free and this is a great advantage over other similar softwares.

If you have a manual purchasing process today and are having difficulty tracking requests and orders and ensuring that bills are accurate and paid on time, you will love Procurify.

• Workflow, ease of getting items to the person that is needed to approve.
• Delegation, ease of setting up a temporary approver while a user is out on vacation.
• Emailing PO's to vendors, don't have to save then email. Can email directly from Procurify.

• Ability to have concurrent budgets open for different years.
• Inventory capability.

I changed from Fresh Books to Invoice Ninja because Invoice Ninja while being free and open source still offers all the Fresh Books features. Also, we were able to change the estimate module to work exactly as we needed and now it allows us to do consignations to our clients that after we can convert to invoices.

We did our evaluation more than five years ago so I don't remember the names. Procurify was the only one (at the time) that met all of our needs. Procurify service and support is fantastic. No doubt we made the right choice.

• We saved time and got things approved quicker by using Procurify for invoice approvals.
• Time was saved and expenses were reimbursed quicker.
