Ivanti Security Controls vs. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

Agentless patching is the best of all the products I've used. The real-time updates that don't require re-scanning after each step is great.

Advanced threat detection, Microsoft is a great tool for identifying and automated response to any kind of threats. I love the integration capabilities, hence creating a more connected environment. Automated detection and response saves a lot time, comes with a lot of additional and useful features to prevent any cyber security issues.

The first time I tried to onboard my macOS endpoints to MDE I struggled for quite a bit. I had to reach out to Microsoft's MDE support team. The tech was very helpful in walking me through the steps during a screen share session

Since we have been using Application Control for about 15 years, it is, of course, the best solution for us. We also looked at other products (RES One Workspace), but they didn't convince us. Some features of RES were good and are now part of the User Workspace Manager. The Microsoft solution seems too complicated to us and does not have the advantages of Trusted Ownership Checking.

in an overall protection sentinelone is providing better protection for us, but as it comes with subscription's limitation, we have to be really careful in managing the licenses, the MS Defender for endpoint is providing us a decent protection which we are not complaining about, why we chose them ? as mentioned, this is coming with our subscription
