Kashflow vs. Zeni

Perfect for a SME, less so for larger companies with a lot of staff. A reliable application, with few outages and easy to learn how to use for a variety of staff in different positions. Mobile phone app has been bit of a disappointment. Management reporting functionality could be improved.

Zeni is well suited for any organization that needs accounting work. They have been great for us since we are in the SaaS space and they adjusted our accounts to reflect SaaS needs and metrics. So far I think Zeni would be a fit for any size of company. I think it would be great to start out with Zeni so that you have them in place as you grow.

• Can be difficult to find information within the application.
• Some of the reporting functionality is weak.
• Functionality for financial planning could be significantly improved upon.

All I know was I am a victim of ACH through the Zeni system. My business will take years to recover from this fraud.

The Zeni team has always been quick to respond and get on a call if needed.

We received an offer for a discounted license for initial use and pretty much got so used to Kashflow, that we have continued with it. There are some frustrations with it, in particular the ability to search and find information. The reporting functionality is also a bit of a disappointment. However, easy for day to day use for the staff and just about sufficient for monthly planning. Some of the integrations like Payroll are not bad.

We used Bench.co before switching to Zeni- our books were often not available when promised, we had issues with duplicate transactions, and we had serious communication issues when trying to file our taxes. Zeni corrected our books and got our taxes filed quickly and seamlessly.

• I believe Zeni was taking my money without permission
• Zeni did not verify the company to be legitimate. They let a gmail address with no website qualify. All they needed to do was look up the real company and verify this is fraudulent.
