Login Enterprise By Login VSI vs. RES ONE by RES Software (discontinued)

Login Enterprise is well suited for monitoring server status and customer's performance on a specific server that its tracking. Do not expect easy learning curve as documentation could take time to read through and distinguish which is good and bad. Overall, it's a great product for server monitoring but only if enough resourced is provided for it.

It is very well suited for environments where users move/roam between systems such as VDI, hosted shared servers, or where immutable systems are in place (mandatory profiles or desired state systems).

• Lock down OS settings, network, and files.
• Capture profile settings and make them easily accesible and fast to load.
• Create and deploy registry changes for end users.
• Capture user customizations.
• Content Filtering (Web).

• It would be nice if the instant report function had the possibility to also show added users/groups

The tool is integral to how business is done by end users, thus it's imperative to keep the solution around. Not to mention the business leverages the experience to assist clients with building out the solution for their needs.

Easy to deploy and transparent for the end user.

Ivanti's support department is great. They resolved incidents great and quickly.

The implementation is typcially pretty simple on a flat active directly and non-DMZ based environment. Once things become more complex it is imperative to move slowly and test frequently with UAT groups and engineers.

Overall, Login Enterprise is a unique product that is useful for server, virtual laptop, user monitoring that enable us to see statistics and performance of our servers to make sure everything is good to go. I haven't use any software that is similar to this so I would recommend this to others.

• It increases troubleshooting possibilities which helps solve problems faster
