Marqeta vs. Teampay

Great platform for FinTechs that want to build a global business in one place. Lots of control available to run a card program. If you want to do less work (just get cards for your customers with less customization and not worry about details) there are better options.

Well suited for simple payroll needs. Not a great option for large companies looking for more detailed reports. We have always been able to get employees paid on time and easily.

The support team has been excellent and very responsive. Whenever we had issues and reached out, we were able to resolve most problems within 24 hours. I think it really helps that they are still a new-ish startup and are very hands-on with their business and with support.

We evaluated a couple back in 2018 (GPS and Galileo), but I'm not sure that is relevant anymore.

Teampay was simplified and great for smaller businesses. ADP Workforce Now has many add-on features, while Teampay feels more basic but effective.

• Our entire card payments business runs on Marqeta and Marqeta's cost is a fraction of the revenue provided.
• Costs very reasonable at scale.

• S. and Canada ADP don't communicate, operated as a completely separate company
