Microsoft Viva Glint vs. Perceptyx

Glint is a really user friendly and visually appealing platform for survey recipients. They also have a great support team, who are helpful in answering our questions. Areas where Glint can improve is more on the admin side. If you only need to run your surveys a few times a year (which is what we do with our 360 & employee engagement surveys), it’s not going to be bad at all. For our exit interview process, we run them for every leaver and are running into difficulties with how to streamline how to upload the data in an efficient and non-time consuming way. I also think data reporting can be better & more user friendly.

I think the software is well suited for targeted feedback for large organizations. I think product marketing teams could use the software as well. I think it competes directly and does a better job than SurveyMonkey. The platform feels more mature. I think this would work very well for politicians to be able to use to invite constituents to provide feedback on local, state, and national govt.

• Great way to create and send surveys.
• Easy to fill out when expecting 100s of responses.
• Effective at collating response for management teams to review.

• I really like the customizability of the platform. As a user it is easy to navigate and provides ample opportunity to write in reviews.
• The ability to save information on the platform is great. So users can stop and start a review at their leisure
• I really like the ability to email to remind users to finish a survey. This keeps users engaged and reminds them to finish.

• Offering suggestions on how best to provide feedback in comment boxes. Perhaps forcing the creators of the surveys to list examples to help reviewers
• I think having emojies would help as well instead of the standard language.
• Perhaps adding a mobile platform for customers to send out to their workforce

INCREDIBLY easy for the end-user. The only questions we had were around confidentiality/anonymity. We tried to further address these with other surveys by calling out and explaining how Glint worked. As an admin, it is also quite simple and easy to find answers when you don't have them.

The technical support has been on point from implementation through to when we were running on our own with our surveys. It's great to have People Science support but we did find that oftentimes we knew our organization better and should be speaking to leadership about these results instead of PS. It was great to throw lines out to them for trends, especially when it came to Covid, Return to Office, and Diversity.

The only comparable product I've used is Rypple, which I'm not sure still exists. Glint is a superior product in pretty much every way I can remember, from the employee survey experience to the output reports.

I like Perceptyx because it feels like a more mature platform. This is what the executive team at my company has used to survey. The ability to integrate into email platforms to send out to the whole organization is valuable, and the ability to save answers gives employees time to think and carefully provide the best answers to the survey questions
