MutualMind was an enterprise listening platform with engagement and publishing features and analytics, that is now discontinued after the company's acquisition in 2016.

Terapeak is a market research and intelligence tool with a particular emphasis on sales data to assist ecommerce vendors in decisioning. Terapeak was acquired by eBay in December 2017, and the company claims that it plans to integrate it into its Seller Hub suite of software.
Terapeak makes sense for people looking to sell a lot of items or resellers. It does not make sense for people selling one-off items or individuals looking to simply spring clean. It is great for determining pricing, what to start auctions at, and figuring out a shipping/returns strategy (whether or not to offer free shipping, have the buyer pay shipping, and if you should have returns allowed.) I would not recommend it if you just want to move the item out of your house or if you do not care what price an item sells for.

MutualMind gives us a view into the reach of social content we produce on behalf of our advertisers and the engagement that content generates with shoppers.

MutualMind gauges sentiment around social conversations but does so with the standard margin of error found in most social analytics products. The nature of human conversation makes it difficult for a machine to categorize sentiment with 100% accuracy. MutualMind gets sentiment right between 50% to 70% which is within acceptable industry averages for this type of product. With additional tuning (which MutualMind provides) the accuracy levels will increase.
I wish I could use Terapeak outside of eBay. Why can't I use it with other platforms like Mercari, Poshmark, etc.?
I don't like that I have to pay for this feature. Other selling platforms provide their sold information free of charge.
It feels antiquated. I need to click through many menus and tabs to price items. I wish it would automatically move me through the pages, instead of making me fill out the information, then hit "next" or "enter."

As a company that's only 3 years old, MutualMind's toolset is quite usable but it could use some tweaks in the user interface, which they are constantly working on.
During a recent upgrade period, MutualMind had a small window of unavailability. I am confident they have addressed the root cause and do not foresee any future issues.
The product's performance has improved greatly in the last year and we anticipate seeing additional improvements in coming months based no planned infrastructure changes.
Terapeak can't be beaten for selling on eBay, because it is part and parcel with eBay. For comparable listings on other sites, I prefer Sellhound and Jungle Scout. I find that Webgility and Price2Spy are more helpful for SEO and getting to the top of Google's search results. I feel that I get more eyes on my products using other services when I am not specifically selling through eBay. But on eBay, Terapeak is the only service I will use.

By showing increases in engagement and share of voice (defined as the amount of content generated for our advertisers versus the amount of content generated for their competitors over time) we are able to correlate content to incremental sales data provided by our advertisers.
We have saved time by using Terapeak for pricing. We did not price our items up too much but made them competitive with the market.
We made more money using Terapeak than we would have without it because we did not under-price items. Terapeak gave accurate comparable sold listings.
One negative impact was simply the cost. It was about $20/month and was set up to auto-renew. We forgot to cancel our membership and accidentally paid for a service we weren't using.
