Clarify before hand any additional charges for remote hand and arrangement/SLA for remote hand. Negotiate well on these terms as they tend to be more flexible around this. Clarify shipping and handling charges if any.

Paragon Hard Disk Manager is suitable for use by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The graphical user interface helps to make the software easy to use, even by those with limited computer/technical knowledge and skills. The software will likely meet most, if not all, of the backup requirements of SMEs.

• Disk wiping - quick and effective solution for simple wipe processes
• Partitioning - the software allowed us to work more closely with the partitions in a GUI environment
• Data Migrations - Paragon Hard Disk Manager made this process of data migration very easy and convenient

• San Jose facility power outage caused damage to company's credibility, this should not occur again being 7x24 facility and backup generator

I've never had to contact Paragon support which speaks to the quality of their product.

Navisite's rates were better and they seemed to have more SQL Server expertise. This was about 5 years ago and it may not be the case anymore

• Cost savings by not having a full-time DBA on staff - saving of at least 50K a year
• Data team not on call 24/7
• Navisite team will try to fix issue if possible - e.g. shrink log files that have grown

• Paragon Hard Disk Manager makes creating regular incremental backups straightforward. The ease of configuring the software to automatically perform backup jobs increases the likelihood that we will follow through with our backup strategy, thus protecting our data.
• Any loss of important data would potentially be catastrophic to our business. Paragon Hard Disk Manager minimizes this risk.
• The software's ease of use also means we can focus more on our core business activities (and spend less time and effort on data backups).
