Scale plan offers additional database servers at a cost of $100/month for each additional billable server. In general, each 1 Postgres server that is running (i.e. one parent postgres process) is considered 1 billable server. In the case of cloud providers these are often called "instances". Depending on the subscription plan you are on, you may have a special price for replica servers (also called "readers", or "followers"), which is implemented by multiplying the replica count with a multiplier (e.g. 0.5), with the total rounded up. Cons	Percona Sometimes it creates problems while serving a huge number of servers but I am sure its efficient team will overcome this problem soon and with its rapid advancements there will surely be more latest and advanced alerting options. Truly speaking this is a great invention with very few shortcomings. I never face any dependency issues. Usability	Percona I am using PMM for a long time now and the Dashboard provides a great overview for general server health and law. You get to watch if there are many queries when you get a problem. Time-based analysis for MySQL and MongoDB servers to confirm that your data works as efficiently as possible. We could improve database performance significantly. Alternatives Considered	Percona Vividcortex is nice but is costly. Datadog loses for me on the UI front and, of course, it will be a charged product. Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) has been best blend of technologies and is supported by the Percona community very well.
