It gives the option to create projects from standard templates and makes it easier for the Project manager to modify based on the need. The project Manager shall be able to create a detailed project plan with timelines, Milestones, and delivery dates. Every phase of the project is controlled by a status mechanism, thereby ensuring the tracking of the project's progress.

This product is very customer-centric and solution-based for SAP Project Management. It has very good web-based UI. Portfolio and Project Management in one single platform which is very rare in different project management products. Effective tool to manage projects, portfolios, budget and schedule. KPI and Reporting is one of the best features of this product.

• This is always hard to gauge since we don't have metrics for "did nothing" to compare against. An old Business Roundtable white paper indicated that a 10% reduction in expense could be attained, but I don't think a general statement like that applies to any specific organization unless they can say their Project Management Maturity level is low.
