QuickBooksPOS vs. Times PAY vs. Vend

If you run a retail store, or need to setup a retail store quickly and QuickBooks is your Acounting software of chouice, their POS System is a perfect choice. Given the fact that they are both interconnected and created and maintained by Intuit, it's a no brainer solution.

Vend was great fit for this dry cleaner/laundry that had high traffic volume with customers stopping in before and after work. Things need to be done quickly.

• It tracks well your inventory, giving you alerts whenever a stock is low. It also helps you to re-order low stock levels.
• Great loyalty reward system, giving you the chance to track customers and reward them for their purchases.
• Generates comprehensive and easy to read sales reports.
• Very suitable for small businesses.

I feel like all of these products have their own advantages and disadvantages. I feel though that QuickBooksPOS is especially beneficial when paired with QuickBooks Accounting Software creating a combination paired from a single vendor as opposed to multiple vendors and managing integrations that may or not break between release cycles.

Vend is much more capable than Square POS for product management and inventory control. ShopKeep is fairly similar to Vend but is a more closed ecosystem with fewer third-party integrations and less frequent updates.

• Correct inventory levels has been a game-changer. We use to oversell because of inconsistencies between POS and e-commerce sales.
• The built-in loyalty program has been very useful and was much more appealing to customers than we originally predicted.
