Salsify vs. Signpost

If you're looking for a tool to be able to syndicate singular products to other platforms, Salsify does well. Where it falls down a bit is when you're creating kits or bundles and trying to pass that data along to other applications. Overall, it's the best syndication platform we've found in the market.

I would NEVER recommend Signposts! Signpost's fee is very expensive for a small company like ours, so I had to cancel the service - or at least TRY to. I contacted them the day after they billed our card for another $2,000, and I was told that we were automatically on the hook for another year, with no exceptions and no recourse. Very greedy and desperate; this doesn't seem like the way to keep happy clients.

• The customer service is AMAZING! They walked us through everything step by step... multiple times. They are also working with us on how to identify our goals.
• The platform is extremely user friendly.

• The best feature that I like the most and have been using for some time is their marketing tool. Signpost makes marketing an easy task. It has enhanced our productivity.
• As I did things manually in the past but now Signpost has made this very much easier for me to just trust their marketing tool to do marketing according to the algorithm.
• It helps me to have more organic views on the platform and more positive reviews on the newsletter.
• The automated system asks for reviews from the customer which makes it even more helpful in changing and advancing new things.
• It also changes our approach to the work and with the automated extremely functional setup it increases our positive reviews which is good for the organization.

• A better GUI interface
• Better support as at times it takes a while to hear back from them
• More user training have better efficiency on using the software

• Provide user a way to cancel their service.
• Get rid of the very aggressive sales staff.
• Refund money for unused moths. Do not be so shady!

I am only giving it a 9 because they are working on streamlining the uploading process to make things easier on our end - once this is complete I would most likely give it a 10!

I was not directly involved in the purchase decision process to acquire Salsify as we started using it after it, but I can tell the Team decided on Salsify for a number of solid reasons including functionalities, price, integration options, and usability. Otherwise, we would have kept the older tool or decided on a different provider. Salsify took the lead as the ideal solution for us earlier this year.

• Increased the productivity of the publish process.
• 5x products are published per partner in the same time it took earlier.
• Product information like pricing and images can be downloaded in a click.

• The support team is very professional. I had problems while using Signpost in the past and I contacted their support on that matter.
• They responded very professionally, listen[ed] to each and every problem related to the work, and doing hindrance to the flow of work with the full-fledged solution to the problem.
• This makes me more confident in using the platform more in depth.
