SAP Digital Manufacturing is well suited to integrate SAP S/4 with the shop floor systems for shop floor control. It shines on automatic data collection, automated down time collection, embedded SAP Analytics Cloud, Inventory integration, Interactive Production Operator Dashboards, Process Monitoring, Production Process Designs etc.

SAP Digital Manufacturing is a very well thought and engineered solution that does really well in trying to map most manufacturing use cases and makes it possible to manufacturers to avoid expensive and complex custom solutions and instead implementing fit to standard solutions that needs less maintenance and are less subjected to issues
