Teramind vs. Virtru

Easy to use and to install this great solution and it is very easy to remotely monitor all our employees activities and get reports on what they are doing and what applications are being used and doesn't make users computer slow and that they never notice when they are being monitored.

Of all the products out there that integrate with Google, we found Virtru to be the most user-friendly for both our users and the recipients. At the same time, its logging capabilities provide the trail we need for sensitive information. This is one tool for us that has generally been "setup and forget" which helps with the I.T. Dept workload.

• Activity Trends--You can see what types of programs, trends or content effect users.
• Motivation--Users have access to their productivity dashboards and metrics compared against other users, and it can increase motivation through friendly competition.

• Email encryption without installing or exchange keys with the recipient.
• Email DLP that is easy to configure and maintain.
• Application Gateway that encrypts email sent directly from SaaS application (ex. Zendesk, SalesForce).
• Protect attachment with restriction like time, print, and copy.

• Sometimes it constantly gets disconnected.
• It creates duplicate each time i try to log on a different device.
• With antivirus in place it may be hard to install because it always flag it as a virus.

• Native Google Docs file encryption should be improved, it's working great in Google Drive but only for files that are not Google native.

For new users, the web admin console is welcoming and easy to use. The configuration and the required settings are easy to understand.

For the one sending/using, I rate a 10. For receiver experience, I would rate it 8, as sometimes there are hiccups. So overall, a 9

They've got live chat support right on their dashboard, which usually responds within minutes.

Teramind is easy simple easy to navigate through with and intuitive and powerful user interface offering dashboard rich features and excellent video and screen recording and being able to hind log out access which makes it the smart monitoring tool than any other products. Teramind can be used from anywhere both in app and web based.

Full Gmail integration was not a negotiable item for us in our evaluation. Other products provided our needed functionality, but they were outside the standard Gmail interface. That made them more difficult to use, and also less likely to be used. Virtru was the only one we evaluated that actually resided within the Gmail interface, making it very easy to use.
