ViralSweep vs. Votigo

If my colleague needed an easily accessible, user-friendly platform for hosting internal and external contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions, then I would 100% recommend ViralSweep to them. Running multiple contests can be a huge task, especially in the case of my company, where we only have one dedicated person (me) to make sure the prize winners are selected and paid out. ViralSweep makes it so easy to manage contest winners and email addresses to add to our send list!

If you want a fully integrated and customized solution Votigo is the way to go. But it is not a cheap or fast option. If you can work within the self service template it can be a fast, inexpensive option.

• Worked with Votigo on large cause marketing campaign for Citgo Oil. Great customer service!
• Votigo is flexibile with program implementation and customization. Project for 3M
• Votigo is a always timely with follow up and technical support and resolution

• Viralsweeps has a few options I would like, such as Hashtag Entry Collection, but I'd have to upgrade
• Filtering invalid entries can be a pain and easily forgotten

• I wish we had more flexibility with the design options like CSS and HTML at the lower cost self service option.
• I wish the API option was less expensive or had more flexabilty in the design
• Please remove the Votigo branding for the self service solution. I would be willing to pay more but not a lot more.

For a custom or API implementation I think it is a great option and they have great customer service. The self service option is too rigid and I need more application options and design customization

I typically am requesting assistance from the purple chat bubble in the lower right corner of the dashboard, but Giancarlo always answers me quickly when I need problems solved while setting up different campaigns/projects. They are very straightforward and to the point and know exactly how to navigate this platform.

I really did like Woobox, but its interface is a bit too unprofessional and fun to me. It's exported email list reports were also a little wonky sometimes. ViralSweep labels every entry with a name, email, IP address, selection chosen from a drop-down, date, and more! It just depends on what information you've requested your customers to provide to you. ViralSweep's overall look, feel, and purpose blows away Woobox.

• In 2019, ViralSweep entries grew our email list over 10k.
• Using ViralSweep has helped to spread our contests to sweepstakes sites all over the U.S.

• It is a great solution but I now see a lot of other products with more advanced reporting and lower costs.
