Apple Pay - Seamless Electronic Transactions

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Apple Pay so that individuals who are making business expenses/payments can pay seamlessly and electronically via their phones. This creates a clear record/receipt for the user for easy reimbursement if necessary and obviates the need to input credit card information/carry around a credit card. It can also be used to store company card information.

Pros

  • Electronic payments
  • No need for a physical card
  • Seamless/secure transactions

Cons

  • None

Likelihood to Recommend

We have generally no negative things to say or criticisms of Apple Pay! It makes payment via company card easier as the information can be stored on one's phone. It also makes reimbursement easier if someone pays with their own card as there is a clear transaction record/receipt stored immediately after the transaction.

Apple Pay couldn't be more convenient and hassle-free

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

For purchases we can use at a retailer accepting credit cards, we happily use Apple Pay when they accept it. We often are making routine purchases at local businesses near our office, and some of the ones we most often frequent are able to accept Apple Pay, which is very convenient and which we appreciate considerably.

Pros

  • The double click which launches it couldn't be easier; you don't even have to open your phone and find the app.
  • It's pretty much fool proof from there, as just holding your phone near the reader is sufficient for success.
  • Haptic feedback ensures that I know the payment registered.
  • I have full faith and confidence that the transaction was executed securely.

Cons

  • The interface can be clunky at times when it comes to sifting through different cards, etc. If there are a lot, it can be unwieldy.
  • I find that it can be sometimes difficult to delete tickets or coupons/cards that I've already used.
  • I've had issues with train tickets in my Wallet failing to update if purchased before Daylight Savings time, resulting in missed trains.

Likelihood to Recommend

It works great when you don't want to carry cash, or even carry credit cards. It is so simply to just whip out your phone, double click, and it opens with FaceID and is ready to use. In our case, we shop very often at a store across the street which accepts Apple Pay and so the payment portion is essentially a non-issue at this point, which is fantastic for us.

Apple Pay has simplified life

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

First of all, I am new to Apple. I bought my first iPad about 4 years ago and didn't really use it much. When my phone contract was up in November, I decided to make the switch from Android to Apple, and that's when I discovered Apple Pay. This has been a game-changer! I absolutely love it. I love that I don't need to carry all of my debit & credit cards with me everywhere, everything is on my phone. I can make purchases for my businesses and also for personal in one app.

Pros

  • I don't have to carry all my cards with me.
  • It's always with me because my phone is always with me.
  • It gives me cash back on purchases.

Cons

  • I do wish when I charge something with ApplePay that I could pay off the balance without making a second payment.

Likelihood to Recommend

I use it not only at stores in person but also online. It's so easy to use. I've been a victim of identity theft before and I just feel safer using it online than entering my individual credit card info every time. Plus I get cashback on purchases!

Apple Pay is Extremely Useful!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Apple Pay for business & personal use. I haven’t experienced any business issues using it, nor have I had any personal issues as well. The system is very simplistic and easy to use on both ends. The product addresses a unique, additional way for payments to be made, and in particular, a much easier method to use.

Pros

  • Ease of providing customer service
  • Timely response back on payments
  • Receipts provided clearly & immediately upon payment

Cons

  • Some Apple Pay screens or monitors could use a larger screen size.
  • A signature pen could be made available for use at all times.
  • I would like it if it could provide all receipts by email, text, or paper immediately.

Likelihood to Recommend

Apple Pay works well and is easy to use. It generally is readily available and doesn’t provide any issues. It's able to be utilized as payment on all transactions, and there are not really any scenarios in which this couldn't be applied as a payment to be used on occasion.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Apple Pay for contactless personal payments as well as integration with development partners, CMS websites, mobile apps, etc.

Pros

  • Integration
  • Support
  • Security

Cons

  • More supported partners
  • Cross-platform (android, other) support
  • Support for Zelle, venmo, other wallets.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for the personal user if they want to drop the wallet in their pocket and only carry their supported device. For the enterprise level company or retailer, the support is there to expand its use as well as the low fee in line with other payment gateways.

Great for Touch-Free Entry

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used for hands-free payment options, event entry, and multiple card storage in one location. In the current climate with the need to lessen high-touch areas for safety, it helps to support this as well as lessen the need to sanitize as frequently if more folks use the touchless system.

Pros

  • Touch-free entry
  • Card consolidation
  • Lessens the items conference attendees need to carry

Cons

  • Wider availability and cross-platforming
  • Accessibility for Android users

Likelihood to Recommend

It works very well as an option for touch-free conference and event entry instead of scanning a QR code. It is easy, fast, and more reliable with the right equipment.
