Well suited to posting of jobs and screening of candidates. Not able to post a confidential opening.
Our entire organization uses ApplicantStack. Communication with job applicants is all accessible in one place and funneled through the software. We rely on this for recordkeeping on applicants as required by law. We also use ApplicantStack to post job openings are various partner sites to aid in recruitment. ApplicantStack allows us to easily see what status each applicant is in and how recruitment efforts are progressing.
Pros

Manage communication with applicants when they are no longer being considered

Cons

ApplicantStack is an excellent tool for managing applicants and recruitment efforts. It allows multiple users to access data and stay informed of the status of recruitment projects.
ApplicantStack is currently our only applicant tracking system being utilized. We have the job posting page on our company website that has new prospective employees apply to our site through the ApplicantStack created application. We use this system for all incoming applications as well as for contacting prospective employees through the email and/or text features. We also use ApplicantStack for posting and sponsoring our jobs on Indeed.
Pros
Applicant tracking
Texting feature
prequalifying questions added to job application
Storing and sorting applicants
Cons
functionality with indeed is lacking.
Would be useful if they updated their indeed sponsoring function as this seems to rarely work as intended.
Having the ability to easily update a job posting on Indeed without needing to completely recreate the post all over again.
Likelihood to Recommend
ApplicantStack is great for applicant tracking as well as the ability to completely customize your application. If you are using ApplicantStack for posting to indeed as well, this is where it gets tricky. I have gone back to posting on Indeed through our corporate account as opposed to using the ApplicantStack function due to the fact that it is so much more of a headache trying to figure out how to sponsor the job with the correct budget amount, and getting the postings to go live, and update as needed.

We have been using ApplicantStack for many years. It is a great tracking system for applicants to multiple jobs. It allows us to post jobs out to many different sites in one platform and be able to track those candidates in a single dashboard. It is a simple to use with a lot of tools within it to help keep the flow of applicants up to date and easily accessible.
Pros
Applicant tracking
Customized questionnaires
Integrated onboarding
Robust reports
Cons
More intuitive dashboard
Updated GUI/UX
Interactive tutorials/classes on how to use the product well
Likelihood to Recommend
ApplicantStack is great when you have jobs that need to be posted to multiple sites but need one place to track them all. It has a lot of features within the program to help with workflows, documents, messaging and reporting. The amount of customization is wonderful and you can get almost every aspect of the program customized to your needs. ApplicantStack has saved us countless hours of work over the years we have used it.
My organization uses ApplicantStack as a recruiting platform, as well as an Applicant Tracking System. We use it to integrate our job postings with our company's career page in real time, and to post jobs to multiple job boards. Candidates will apply via Applicantstack and are managed in the platform throughout the recruiting cycle.
Pros
Posting jobs to several of the major job board simultaneously.
Managing candidate pipeline effectively.
Cons
Could have additional choices of what job boards you can post to.
Ability to integrate to more ATS systems and Social Media Platforms.
Likelihood to Recommend
I feel ApplicantStack is well suited for small to medium sized organizations. It is not likely to be compared to some of the major ATS systems out there, where they can be used for multiple functions other than recruitment and candidate tracking (i.e. benefits administration, payroll, commissions, attendance, etc.).
As a quick and easy recruiting platform ApplicantStack is my go-to. Great way to store resumes and match with current and future requisitions.
I currently use ApplicantStack while supporting multiple clients. Some of my clients use it departmentally in addition to another vendor, and some fully for all roles. ApplicantStack offers a very user-friendly platform to manage candidates in the recruitment process and communicate with candidates. It also provides customized reporting and export options for all data stored within the system.
Pros
Customized reporting
Customized workflow
Email triggers
Customized URLs apply links to track the source of candidates, with scraping capabilities for Indeed, LinkedIn and social platforms
Customized screening questions with scoring functionality
Cons
Customized API export
More transparency with their technology roadmap
Full CRM capabilities
Talent Networks capabilities

Small to mid-size companies. Active ATS users to update candidate progress in real time. You have the option for candidates to apply through a URL, or to forward them/upload them into the ATS. Highly recommend for companies that need an ATS on a budget to manage candidates and move away from inbox management.
ApplicantStack helps organize and automate our hiring process. We are a small business, but it's still important to track our applicants in the hiring process. The reports are especially helpful. We can see how long it takes to get someone from application to either rejection or hire. We can also see how many people start versus complete the application, which has allowed us to see trends with different versions of the application itself.
Pros
The reports are particularly helpful. For the first few years, I didn't use the reports simply because we transitioned from paper applications and we were still learning about the online process. Now we review them monthly to see where any inefficiencies lie.
We have every application that has ever been submitted to our organization in the online database. If someone reapplies, we can look back and see the reasons we didn't pursue them. This does require us to make good notes to be able to look back on, which is a good practice regardless. Sometimes we are able to take a second look at someone if it was something like limited availability that took them out of the running initially versus a personality issue.
Simply put, the whole premise of the site is valuable. Being able to capture applications online, when that is how most people find us, is crucial.
Cons
I believe this stems from integration with our website, but ever since our franchisor changed the layout of our application, we have had issues with people being able to complete our application. We very recently reduced our initial application to contact information only and have seen a twofold increase in the number of completed "applications". Technological ability is not a part of the job we mainly hire for, so this has worked better for us.
Setting up forms on the onboarding side can be arduous, but it is done so infrequently that it's not a deterrent for us. Once you have a setup that works, you're golden. You do have to use Internet Explorer when modifying forms to be able to save changes for some reason.
If you don't have someone tech savvy on staff, you will need to contact ApplicantStack staff to make changes to your application. They have been very helpful for me the couple times I have needed help.

ApplicantStack would be useful for any size business with one or a variety of openings. It is designed to handle multiple job openings over time.

Creating a digital workflow for the new hire process has become a requirement for most companies. The ability to filter applicants and focus man hours only on the most qualified candidates is a must. We decided to pursue ApplicantStack as they offered the most attractive feature suite in their price range.
Having managed many SAAS solution purchases over the last few years, I was simply astounded at the speed and ease of the purchasing and deployment processes.
The customer service was fantastic, which is always a major concern when selecting a SAAS provider.
Custom development was priced so low we thought they'd misplaced a decimal.
Pros
Their support is top notch.
Their interface is clean and easy to understand for the people in our HR department.
Configuration was simple enough that IT has been able to step back and let our HR team manage changes and updates to the system.
Cons
Report customization needs work, it's tough to export the data I want in a format that doesn't require extra work after an export.
Support is fantastic, but hard to get a hold of. Often you need to leave a message on a voicemail and get a call back.
There is a strong learning curve to the interface, however once you become comfortable with it.. it's very powerful.
Likelihood to Recommend
For small/medium companies looking to simplify and track the hiring process, Applicantstack is a well priced and feature packed alternative. Its onboarding capabilities are fantastic, in its price range it has no equal.
