[AVG AntiVirus Business Edition] is an excellent tool and assisted our company in keeping eye on the threats that try to enter our organization's important files. Malware is a major threat to us and this tool is so good against them and its detection power is quite strong and it alerts as soon as it captures any threat. and hence it has provided us complete protection against cyber attacks.

Pros

It removes and protects the system efficiently.
It is so active tool in detecting undesired threats.
Its pricing is very much reasonable.

Cons

Email protection doesn't work well for us.
Its interface needs more work as it is outdated and complex.
Its installation takes much time and is slow.

AVG [AntiVirus Business Edition] is quite a compelling tool and helps in fighting against all kinds of cyber attacks that used to harm us by affecting our files which are quite important to us. AVG has multiple features and its scanning speed is amazing and is the hyperactive tool and its notification feature is also helpful. Email protecting is not so good.

Our business firm needed a [dependable] antivirus that can assure us complete protection of our data and confidential files from all kinds of cyber-attacks and AVG is a complete package and has assisted us in protecting our business data. It supported us in reducing the risk factor of attack from any malware.

Pros

It is easy to install and doesn't take much time to install.
It works rapidly.
It provides complete protection against all kinds of cyber-attacks.
It continuously keeps a track of all kinds of activities and monitors traffic.

Cons

It doesn't work well for hidden files.
Sometimes it takes a lot of time to analyze.
Its user interface is a bit tough for beginners and needs to be improved.

AVG supported us in analyzing the current situation of our system and keep us alert if there was any suspicious activity. We are no longer worried about any kind of cyberattack as AVG is good at protecting the system against any such activity, and above all, it takes very little time in scanning.

We have used the AVG AntiVirus Business Edition protection solution in some branches of the company. It is a great alternative to anti-malware software with advanced protection features and a low price. The tool's focus is to prevent workstations from being infected by viruses, worms, malware, trojans, [ransomware], spyware, spam, and [phishing] attacks. The scenario is growing and we are adopting AVG AntiVirus Business Edition on new workstations that we are acquiring for [...] reliability and security and also for having an excellent and friendly interface.

Pros

Provides protection against hacker attacks and data theft.
The software has a feature that checks web pages before opening them and analyzes whether they are safe or not.
Complete email protection against malware and spam attacks.
Recurring updates with the latest vaccines.
The software does not use much RAM and works on any type of workstation.

Cons

I've had problems with unexpected crashes.
The documentation can be improved.

AVG AntiVirus Business Edition is one of my favorite endpoint security solutions. It is being used in our entire organization. It keeps our system secure and protected from harmful attacks. I would say it is capable of protecting devices. I appreciate it's great services that lets us have a secured environment.

We use AVG Business Edition across our network to protect all of our Windows workstations. It gives us peace of mind against malicious viruses attacking our computers.

Pros

The client runs quietly in the background without distraction to the user.
Very aggressively defends against viruses in email attachments and across the LAN.
Real-time constant updates take the load off IT admin duties.
It just works.

Cons

Server admin console could be a bit more intuitive.
Licensing between business and consumer editions could be clearer and more intuitive.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great software for network management, letting it run on clients and taking care of virus security. Not using the firewall option due to its restrictive nature, but may be applicable in some environments. It interferes with our native programs that are not properly configured.

When I decided to start using AVG AntiVirus Business Edition almost 3 years ago, it was probably the best software decision I ever made in terms of selecting the antivirus software to protect my work pc and servers in our company. AVG AntiVirus Business Edition is being used across all departments, including on all our work PCs and hosted servers. The main problem it solves is the real-time protection and the peace of mind that our data is safe and secure at all times 24/7. For me, personally, I am able to implement, support, and develop our business intelligence software with a peace of mind knowing the code and scripts are secured using authentication and firewalls. The company I work for has no restrictions in terms of which websites we can/can not access, so having AVG antivirus business Edition installed on my pc is very important. I plan to use AVG antivirus business Edition for my personal PC In the near future. Moreover, with AVG antivirus business Edition we can tune up our server's speed by removing unnecessary files and registry logs and also create space; not only that my work PC is much faster after weekly tune-ups which prevent us from replacing PCs every now and then. The company I work has benefited a lot with using AVG antivirus business Edition because we can use all the features and tools it comes with.

AVG Tuneup: With AVG antivirus business Edition it comes with the Tune up tool that cleans my junk files, registry logs, duplicate files, Browser history and downloads folder cleanups, and any files left over by the windows updates; As a result, makes my PC much faster and responsive to use.
Data Integrity: AVG antivirus business Edition has a behind the scenes scanner that scans for un-usual folders, and files that would prevent people from snooping in my personal information; Moreover, data protection and file shredder is what I use in my daily work PC any files I look at, I would delete using the file shredder to leave no trace of that file and also I would encrypt my important financial work files using AVG antivirus business Edition.
Web Threat Protection: with AVG antivirus business Edition the peace of mind is the ransomware protection that is a must, because we have quite a few servers that are important for us so our clients can access our business intelligence software to view their hospitality management financial reports.
Quick install gives me the ability to jump right on to my work and not needing to wait for AVG antivirus business Edition to finish installing; AVG antivirus business Edition is very fast in terms to quickly installing files and start protection right away.

Cons

I honestly do not have any negatives complains for AVG antivirus business Edition.

A couple of well-suited scenarios would be: Let's say if you have a small business especially in the tech industry, its a must to have. It's good, reliable, secure antivirus protection against data, PC hijack, and identity theft. You cannot go wrong with using AVG AntiVirus Business Edition. Another would be for personal PC if you have pictures, important financial information like our tax returns and such you would want to keep them safe, encrypted, and protect by using a suitable antivirus, and AVG AntiVirus Business Edition would be the one to go with. Nevertheless, there are hardly any scenarios that I can think of where AVG antivirus business Edition is not suitable. To say the least, in fact, it is good all around.

For almost a year I have been personally using AVG Business Edition with some collaborated business. Although I have always relied on avast, I must confess that AVG works in a much better way in web browsing protection by warning about potentially dangerous sites, which undoubtedly today is something really important since many websites are loaded with dangerous and potentially harmful scripts.

In my case, some problems that AVG has helped to avoid is the infection and theft of the web browser that occasionally occurs when installing some files obtained from the web. Also, it has allowed me to manage my PC and thus be able to clean this when it is full of junk data that makes the PC slow.

Pros

Easy and fast configuration, without needing to look for new configurations and make big adjustments.
Excellent web browsing protection that blocks files and alerts when facing potentially dangerous sites.
Pretty fluid and daily update system.
In-depth analysis system is very good, detecting and deleting files that other antivirus ignore.

Cons

Like other versions, installing this antivirus or others of the same family in systems of low capacity and speed can be a bad idea because if your PC does not have enough power it can tend to freeze and become very slow.

AVG AntiVirus is used throughout the institution for three years. This software protects against possible fraud in our electronic transactions, alerts about malicious pages, and offers protection against email with harmful attachments. Since we started using this software, infections to the system have dropped considerably. In the commercial field, in an institution like ours, it saves us time in solving problems with viruses that could affect our ability to respond.

Intuitive interface.
Effective in diagnosing and debugging the system

Cons

Cost of the license.
Sometimes the system slows down.
You must have good equipment to take advantage of the software 100%

Likelihood to Recommend

The software is excellent in the prevention of electronic fraud, and this function is really important in these times where most of the transactions (for example, banking) are done electronically. It also performs efficiently in alerting us to web pages that could affect the system. Where I could say it does not have a very satisfactory adaptation, is that sometimes the system slows down when the computer is analyzed completely.

I work as a teacher and I always use a computer. I have used this antivirus for about 15 years and it's excellent. AVG is used to protect computers at the school where I work. It is used by the whole organization because it is easy to install and use, besides it also supports almost all operating systems.

Pros

Real-time protection of files, emails, and instant messages.
It is easy to install and use.
Regular updates.
Ability to repair some files infected by viruses and a quarantine area
Small discharge size

Cons

Unable to analyze units in a network
Fewer configuration options for both updates, analysis, and protection in real time
While the antivirus scans the computer, sometimes it gets slow to work.

Likelihood to Recommend

This antivirus is suitable to be used in any organization that works with computers, as well as to be used at home since every computer requires a good antivirus and AVG is excellent. I do not consider inappropriate scenarios for the use of this antivirus because as I said every computer requires an antivirus.

AVG AntiVirus is being used for quite some time in all the laptops of those who work in "somosloscuervos". As we constantly work on the internet, reviewing pages, uploading files, viewing forums, we need a powerful protection system to avoid infections that can damage our computers and delay work. Before, we used another protection system, but it did not respond well and often it let pass malicious files that ended up infecting and hijacking the browsers.

Pros

its real-time protection system is very good, it protects efficiently against possible viruses, rootkits, ramsonware and others, that you find when you visit the web.
it does not occupy so many elements of the system, so it does not become slow or freeze and you can analyze the pc while doing other activities in it.

Cons

I think the update system is the only thing that has given me problems for two reasons, I think it should be updated more times in the day, especially due to the huge amount of dangerous files that there are, and I think they should make the process less heavy update because only there is a bit slower the pc.

Likelihood to Recommend

AVG AntiVirus Business Edition is an excellent antivirus to use in the day and thus protect your data and your computer from all viruses and their variants that are on the web. You must bear in mind that even if you do not ask for so many resources, if you have a very old computer, it may still be slow, especially in the update process.
