Using Convene was a step in the right direction because it improved board meeting experience, productivity and helps us achieve our organizational objectives. Convene proved to be very beneficial to us since we can share important documents during meetings and easily access all information related to the board. By streamlining our board meeting processes, it saved the organization time and money required to facilitate board meetings.

Cons

Convene uses a feature called Convene Connect that was recently rolled out to integrate with external video apps in order to hold calls.

What made us choose Convene was the unparalleled meeting experience that it offers. We wanted a seamless board meeting experience and we got that from Convene. Another aspect we found very useful as an organization is how easy it is to upload documents during board meetings. It was able to fulfill our organization requirements and board members are very pleased with their experience with Convene.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Azeus Convene is being used as a secure collaboration tool for our executive management team. The extensive secure document sharing, live presentation and collaboration features has provided them with the confidence to use the tool for sensitive and confidential business matters. It also provides a better connected experience for remote participants in management meetings with its ability to follow along with presentations in real time

Azeus Convene's security and collaboration features can create a great business case to introduce technology to the executive management team for board-related matters, especially if they are currently using a 'pen and paper' system. Would recommend for larger companies / large executive teams with busy schedules that find it difficult to collaborate.

Limited individual training sessions - The only clear and concrete advantage that Diligent has over Convene is that they have unlimited individual user training. But Convene is so intuitive and easy-to-use that you don't usually need to go beyond their free first 4 user/administrator training sessions.

Likelihood to Recommend

While my company, SELC Pro, doesn't technically use Convene (we get to see and observe the usage of different board portals via our existing clients who have them), we get to score big by giving practical advice and consultation.
