Celoxis was a Project Management tool brought on to help us ease communication throughout the company. It was great to see Gantt Charts for the visual learners, be able to assign deadlines and tag other coworkers on different tasks. It helped have the information consolidated in one place.
Pros
Gantt charts are a great, visual tool
Tagging other coworkers in different comments
Assigning deadlines
Cons
Having to-do lists as a feature
Likelihood to Recommend
Celoxis is great if you'd like to implement a project management tool to a company that hasn't had one in the past.

Project Manager in Product Management (51-200 employees)
We use Celoxis for managing projects in our managed services operations areas (customer-facing projects sometimes but mostly internal projects: training, infrastructure, process improvement, etc) and information security consulting. We were able to integrate Celoxis into a legacy web portal where users enter their daily timesheets. Integration was easy using Celoxis REST API. There are about 60 members of our different teams using Celoxis only through this API-enabled front-end and 10 more who actually have licenses and manage projects from Celoxis itself.
Pros
Provides a very useful Gantt view
Has a very customizable workflow module for developing custom applications
Includes a powerful REST API for integration with other technologies and processes
Has a very flexible, customizable dashboard designing capability
Provides out-of-the box project KPIs
Allows for managing project cost, both estimated and real
Cons
It's GUI is not very useful on mobile devices
Doesn't have program or portfolio management features, some can be tailored using custom attributes and workflow apps
Some system catalogs (like customers) should be made available as custom fields

Celoxis is a great option if you are looking for an affordable, easy to use, easy to integrate project manegement solution. It is very powerful for waterfall project management. I evaluated more than 15 platforms and could not find any with a close evaluation in terms of cost-benefit to Celoxis. Of course there are more powerfull tools, for 10 times the price. So far, for project management, there hasn't been a requirement I haven't been able to solve with some work.
It really lacks features for Agile methodologies, even if it provides a Kanban view, so far it doesn't provide and additional agile artifacts. If an organization has already reached a very mature project management practice and needs to improve on program and portfolio management, Celoxis won't provide any useful feature. If the organization has the resources (skills and time mostly) to develop some workflows and customization, it might work but with a limit. Hopefully Celoxis addresses these features in the near future.
2 main usages: 1. Project Management - this is the natural use of the solution and it works OK except for some bugs in the Gantt chart view. 2. Order Management - this is a custom use for which we have developed our own workflow. Works fine with some hiccups, especially in reporting.
Pros
Project planning
Time log
Efforts analysis vs plan
Cons
Gantt view (dependencies)
Custom field usage
Graphs

Celoxis works well for project planning, cost vs price, and time usage analysis. One may gain a lot of knowledge about one's projects to be used in future projects from the analysis. Celoxis has issues when trying to apply one operation on many tasks - e.g. changing the resource.
I have made upwards of 8 applications for approaching chances, characterizing a solicitation tracker framework, installments, contracts and so on. That is amazingly helpful to arrange everything around a project. It has inadequacies in correspondence zones like not having an email proofreader at all and you can compose (through remarking) to just a single customer (one individual) from inside the application and so forth. You get this at an extremely minimal effort, not at all like sales power.
Pros
Project managements is great.
Well packed features.
Easy way to schedule reports.
Cons
Support is at times slow to respond.
Not new user-friendly.
Not able to pull in closer or zoom the interface.

Celoxis is an extraordinary PMS, no doubt. I like that they keep the rundowns and reports basic yet still amazing. It is agile in light of the fact that it utilizes message instead of a lot of illustrations impacts and so forth. You can create a wide assortment of reports. It includes free customer entries which my customers love. It has an exceptionally ground-breaking highlight where you can characterize your own application with its very own work process, custom fields and so on. It has a trigger system too to change conditions of applications when reactions are given, which is extremely valuable.
