Engage employees and boost performance!
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We started using Centrical in 2016, when it was still called GamEffective. Part of our company strategy for learning and development is to ensure we enable a learner-centric experience for our collaborators. We were looking for employee engagement and Centrical has been instrumental to achieving this. We use it daily to gamify our learning programs. We were able to transform our new hire orientation into one that incorporates a compelling narrative and game elements to make our content curation more effective and appealing to learners, especially those we get today who are highly visual, technology-oriented, and hands-on.
Pros
- User-friendly platform for both admins and end users
- Scalable and compatible with desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Strong customer success team behind their product
Cons
- Integration with more platforms through API
- More in-depth support articles at their database for narrative config/design
- More plug and play narrative options for beginners
Likelihood to Recommend
It is appropriate and I am sure it will meet your organization's needs if you are looking for an end to end Learning Management System, where you can design and upload content for your different programs. Centrical is also highly recommended if you are looking to gamify programs. Another strong point is performance management as it allows for real-time KPI information and analysis and for some precision on-demand learning. It does not have a plug and play course catalog, so it isn't a solution if you are looking for a catalog of courses for employee development.
