We currently use 9800 WLCs for our Internal and Guest wireless networks. We support wireless connectivity for about 2000 users for their city-provided computers. Also provide wireless data for the guest network for the city and library users across all of the branches. We are in progress of moving the library network to Meraki.

We use WLC for centralized management of APs. We do not have that many APs, but still having a central point for configuration and troubleshooting simplifies things. Also, users require reliable roaming between APs, so having WLC is crucial.
We use wifi as a main connectivity option in our office so it need to be reliable.
