Fast Internet with Easy Troubleshooting

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have Comcast Business fiber, coax, tv, and phone lines. We also make use of their back up services.

Pros

  • Portal management. It makes it super easy to see issues with modems and other equipment.
  • Customer service. They are normally quick to respond and send someone out.
  • Wonderful internet service. We use a lot of different carriers in our multitude of buildings and Comcast is always the most reliable.

Cons

  • Phone line management. Sometimes is a little hard to see all of them.
  • Sometimes too much security. If you don't have the authorized user, it can be annoying to get them to do anything for you

Likelihood to Recommend

Easily the best internet service provider that we use in terms of remote management. This makes it easier for our IT staff to troubleshoot and our accounting department to pay the bills. If we have the option to go with Comcast in a new building opening, I always advocate for them.

Often the only service provider for decent Internet, not a bad choice overall.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Comcast Internet for many clients across Massachusetts. It is typically a good solution for providing Wi-Fi and VoIP services. It does tend to get expensive...after the first year, Comcast plays the price shift game. And it seems to happen over and over. Service is reliable, for the most part.

Pros

  • Initial sign up promotions.
  • Good speed options.

Cons

  • In my opinion support is terrible until you get to tier 2.
  • Price is quick to change after initial year, and continues to rise.
  • Difficult to get a technician out unless you get a good agent on the phone.

Likelihood to Recommend

Acceptable to use wherever service is available. Just don't cheap out...get a decent speed of 300 Mbps at a minimum.

Beware: Comcast Business Internet charges an additional 30 days of service after you terminate and return equipment

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I sold my business and new owner decided to change providers. So I cancelled service 7/20/23 and returned equip. Comcast Business Internet drafted my account 7/24 for full amount. Billing cycle ends August 7, which is 17 days after I cancelled. Agent said it takes 30 days to cancel and they would prorate next months bill. So they plan to bill me for 30 days with no equipment or service. I also asked that if anyone spoke English to call me to see if I misunderstood. They did. And I didn’t. I told them what I thought about Comcast Business Internet and let them know I was going to tell the world that they make you pay for 30 days of service even after you terminate and return equipment. In my opinion, What jerks

Pros

  • Service has been good

Cons

  • When I signed their form to cancel service they should have told me they would still bill me for 30 more days. Which, I believe, is a crappy policy. I was not under any contract

Likelihood to Recommend

I’ve said enough. See first comment they charge for 30 days of service AFTER you terminate and return their equipment. That seems unfair to me.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Comcast Business Internet is reliable, affordable, and consistent. Is a bit more costly but its private network is definitely worth it. I have been using it for years and have no complaints, I have chosen to pay more money per month (in comparison with AT&T and Charter) for more reliable and dependable internet.

Pros

  • Cyber Security
  • 1 Gig Speed
  • No Lagging

Cons

  • Price
  • Account Portal Management

Likelihood to Recommend

An internet connection that fits everything and everyone, from small to Home base business, from medium to bigger corporations and multi-site locations. Can not think of any business that needs telecom services (even if those needs are very minimum) that could not benefit from Comcast Business Internet services and solutions.
