ConsentStack
What is ConsentStack?
Regulation coverage
Built-in handling for 195+ privacy regulations across 157+ jurisdictions, including GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA/CPRA, and 20 US state privacy laws. Region detection selects the applicable consent model per visitor rather than applying one global rule, so EU visitors receive an opt-in flow and US visitors receive the model their state requires, from a single configuration.
Tracker blocking
A curated catalog of 900+ known vendors (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, HubSpot, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and others) is matched against scripts present on the page and sorted into essential, functional, analytics, and marketing categories automatically. Blocking is applied before consent and reversed according to the visitor's choice. Existing tags do not need type="text/plain" attributes, manual tagging, or Google Tag Manager rework.
Why enforcement is the differentiating axis
ConsentStack published a scan of 229 production websites conducted between June 21 and July 14, 2026, with its method and per-site verification audit published alongside the results. Among the 75 sites in that sample running any consent tool, 63 (84%) still failed the EU test. Of the 70 sites where a Reject option was clickable, 30 (43%) had at least one third-party tracker fire afterward. Every one of those verdicts was hand-checked against saved request logs. The study is first-party data from ConsentStack's own scanner and describes the market, not ConsentStack deployments, but it establishes the gap the product is built to close: a banner that renders is not the same as tracking that stops.
Banner design and customization
Colors, fonts, copy, and layout are configurable, with five banner layouts, eight built-in languages, and custom CSS and JavaScript on paid plans. The visitor-side bundle is roughly 30 KB gzipped.
Integrations and deployment
Native consent signaling for six advertising platforms: Google Consent Mode v2, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft UET/Clarity, Pinterest Tag, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. Installation is a script tag for Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and static HTML, or the @consentstack/react package for React and Next.js applications.

Points of difference buyers commonly evaluate
- Concierge setup is included on both paid plans, covering account configuration, banner design, and migration from a previous provider.
- A BAA is available on the $79/month Business plan, where competing platforms generally route HIPAA requirements through enterprise contracts.
- A free compliance scanner is available before purchase and reports which trackers fire before consent on any given site.
