Cvent Attendee Hub (formerly CrowdCompass) is a browser-based and mobile Event Engagement Platform that delivers the attendee-facing experience layer for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. The platform operates as a distinct module within the broader Cvent Event Marketing and Management suite, providing content delivery, structured networking, and real-time interaction tools accessible before, during, and after an event.

Key Capabilities

Session Engagement Tools: Live Q&A, polling, session chat, and discussion threads are embedded directly into the session viewer. Attendees interact with speakers and other participants without leaving the session context. Push notifications and activity feeds surface updates in real time.
Personal Agenda & Appointment Scheduling: Attendees construct and manage individual schedules from the available session catalog. The scheduling module enforces capacity limits and session access rules configured by the event organizer. Attendees may also request and confirm 1:1 appointments with other attendees, sponsors, or exhibitors; confirmed appointments appear within the same unified schedule view.
Content Delivery & Video: The platform supports live streaming, Video on Demand (VOD), and simulcasting. Pre-recorded and live sessions are accessible through an on-demand catalog. Presentations and supporting files are attached at the session level for post-session retrieval.
Exhibitor & Sponsor Management: Virtual exhibitor booths provide exhibitors with a dedicated profile page, lead capture through badge scanning or app interactions, and appointment-scheduling access to attendees. Mobile Event App: A native Event App component syncs sessions, speakers, and exhibitor data from the event backend automatically. Navigation tabs are configurable by the organizer, and attendees use a QR code check-in flow (via Cvent OnArrival integration) directly from the app.
Access Control: Event content can be restricted to registered attendees. Attendee contact visibility is governed by individual opt-in consent settings, not a blanket organizer override.
