Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cyberhoot has increased my awareness in regard to the latest and emerging cyber threats that are constantly ongoing. The increased awareness has boosted my confidence to better confront cyber risks on a daily basis. The training videos, tutorials, and quizzes are filled with nuggets of very informative and helpful cyber knowledge.

CyberHoot has helped bring awareness of the current cybersecurity threats that my company may face and has made me more confident when using the internet. I felt the videos were clear and succinct and digestible. The quizzes help reinforce the learning and have an appropriate level of difficulty in my opinion.

It would be great if there were more videos on cybersecurity topics that were free to help further knowledge

I would recommend this for both individuals and small businesses. I immediately thought of my technically challenged parents as well as my small business when working through the content. They also have a service to help small businesses like mine operate more securely. This type of thing is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t really have the budget for a cybersecurity officer

I completed the free individual training program with CyberHoot. It has helped me learn what sort of things out there can put me or my company at risk. It's really opened my eyes to the threats out there regarding cybersecurity. It definitely helps create a more 'aware' culture within companies that use this tool.

Pros

Short, to the point training videos
Sends everything directly to my email so I don't have to remember login details
Takes no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete a course/assignment

Cons

I'd like to see the feedback change a little when I get a question wrong on the test. It can be a little confusing, but certainly not a game-changer.

Likelihood to Recommend

I can't think of an instance where CyberHoot wouldn't be well suited unless someone has expert knowledge in cybersecurity already. It can be used by individuals for free (like me), or it appears (from their site) through businesses or service providers as well. It is well suited for anyone, everyone should take CyberHoot courses!

I've used the free cybersecurity Bootcamp training that CyberHoot offers, it has helped me become more aware of the threats that I face on a day-to-day basis It has helped me secure my business by not clicking on links, opening malicious attachments, and understanding how hackers operate

Quick and to the point training videos
The quiz after the video is not extremely difficult, fair questions
Covers all of the threats people face on a daily basis

Include more videos in the free training program

CyberHoot should be adopted by any company as far as I'm concerned. It has helped me be safer on the Internet and using company devices. CyberHoot has helped secure my company through my being more aware of the threats out there and how the hackers do them. I can't imagine a scenario where this product wouldn't be a good fit for a company, they seem to do it all

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used this platform as our primary way of continuing Religious Education during the beginning of the pandemic when our church and school were shut down. It offered a wonderful opportunity for our catechists, students, and families to stay connected during a difficult time. We found that this online platform promoted family catechesis which helped us to realize that we needed to keep this platform available throughout our program even after our building and classrooms opened up again.

Pros

User friendly, especially for non-technical people.
Easy to see status of all users.
Very easy to switch from one class, "customer" to another.
Easy to resend assignments out.

Cons

I wish this platform allowed more then one email per user.

Without being overly complicated, CyberHoot suited our needs to provide lessons and videos for our students and families to do together while safe in their homes during the pandemic.

I went through the Cyberhoot training as a refresher and enjoyed the Cybersecurity training videos and quizzes. The videos were well done, covering relevant topics that should be top of mind for Cybersecurity professionals such as common types of attacks, malware, phishing, password management, etc. Any business that utilizes these training tools would have a stronger security culture as a result!

Using what I have learned from CyberHoot has helped me to better understand and be aware of current cybersecurity threats that I face throughout my personal and work life. I also enjoyed the different videos part of this training program. They were easy to understand and the quizzes at the end really helped solidify what you learn throughout the videos.

The CyberHoot Cybersecurity Awareness Training has helped me become aware of current cybersecurity threats. I feel much more confident while surfing the web. The training videos are quick, interesting, and full of valuable information. The quizzes tested my knowledge, but they were easy. I was able to review all the answers at the end. I highly recommend it to every business.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I signed up for the free CyberHoot training in an effort to increase my personal and professional knowledge of cybersecurity. I work in a variety of settings including in customer service at a financial institution. Currently, there has been a tremendous increase in fraud cases involving, phishing, smashing, and ransomware attacks on customers. I found the six free pieces of training to be brief and extremely informative. The 6 questions quizzes at the end of the training videos offer a chance to test your mastery of the material presented with an opportunity to retake it. CyberHoot also offers dark web monitoring and free informative monthly newsletters with individual accounts. I would highly recommend proactive CyberHoot training for individuals as well as small or large businesses to protect their information assets and customer data from breaches and cyber threats.

great graphics and audio on the videos

The training videos were excellent and relevant: Spotting and Avoiding Phishing Attacks, The many benefits of a Password Manager, Wifi Insecurities, and How to Reduce Wifi Risks are all topics that everyone should learn about to proactively prevent cyberattacks and threats. I can see tremendous value in the training for individuals as well as small and large businesses.
