Users have made several recommendations based on their experiences with DNSimple:

  1. Shop around for prices: Some users suggest exploring alternative options to DNSimple, as they believe there might be cheaper or even free alternatives available. This recommendation highlights the importance of comparing prices before making a decision.

  2. Consider alternatives: Along similar lines, some users recommend considering other domain name registrars and DNS providers. Despite their positive experiences with DNSimple, these users advise keeping an open mind and exploring other options that may offer similar functionality at a potentially lower cost.

  3. Sign up for DNSimple: On the other hand, many users highly recommend signing up for DNSimple, viewing it as the best option available. They praise its painless DNS management capabilities and emphasize its simplicity, security, and performance. It is a portal that facilitates the management of DNS domain zones, and also provides SSL certificates. It also works as a domain registrar. It can function as a primary DNS zone or configure it as a secondary zone for our domains that are on other DNS service providers. It also allows various price plans according to our needs.
  • Domain management.
  • Configuring SSL certificates
  • http to https redirection
  • It only has 3 pricing plans, but they are very flexible.
  • Domain transfers can sometimes be slow
When you have several DNS domains contracted with different domain providers, you must manage each domain with its corresponding provider. With the DNSimple portal we can bring together all domains in one service and manage them from its portal. In this way we can register the domains with the providers that offer us the best price at all times but we will always manage all the domains from the same portal.
  • Unified management
  • SSL Certificates
  • http to https redirection
  • Faster management from a single portal, which saves time/money in management
  • Centralization of all SSL certificates
  • Redirection from http to https so we save money on updating all the links to our web pages.
They all have similar functions, but I decided on DNSimple because of its prices and the fact that it does not have your domain "kidnapped", since you can have your domain at any time to move it to another provider. It also offers very personalized support to customers and tries to solve any problems that arise.

We use DNSimple to have unified management of our clients' domains, since each one has its own DNS Registry provider. In this way you can control all domains from a single portal. It also allows us to generate SSL certificates for domains and redirect http requests to https so that they are reliable in current web browsers.

By having all our clients' domains in a single portal, it is very easy to manage them. We are 2 people so that when one is sick or on vacation we can continue attending to customer requests.
  • Unified domain management
  • SSL Certificates
  • http to https redirection
  • Single Sign-on
  • We have not found how to see traffic graphs by domain and subdomain.
  • Traffic graphs by domain and subdomains
It is a product that has helped us a lot in simplifying domain management and allowing us to provide a more agile service to our clients.

  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
For us the deciding factor was its ease of use and price
I wouldn't change it, we would continue with the same product.
