Overall Satisfaction with DNSimple
It is a portal that facilitates the management of DNS domain zones, and also provides SSL certificates. It also works as a domain registrar. It can function as a primary DNS zone or configure it as a secondary zone for our domains that are on other DNS service providers. It also allows various price plans according to our needs.
- Domain management.
- Configuring SSL certificates
- http to https redirection
- It only has 3 pricing plans, but they are very flexible.
- Domain transfers can sometimes be slow
- Unified management
- SSL Certificates
- http to https redirection
- Faster management from a single portal, which saves time/money in management
- Centralization of all SSL certificates
- Redirection from http to https so we save money on updating all the links to our web pages.
They all have similar functions, but I decided on DNSimple because of its prices and the fact that it does not have your domain "kidnapped", since you can have your domain at any time to move it to another provider. It also offers very personalized support to customers and tries to solve any problems that arise.

Using DNSimple
5 - We use DNSimple to have unified management of our clients' domains, since each one has its own DNS Registry provider. In this way you can control all domains from a single portal. It also allows us to generate SSL certificates for domains and redirect http requests to https so that they are reliable in current web browsers.
2 - By having all our clients' domains in a single portal, it is very easy to manage them. We are 2 people so that when one is sick or on vacation we can continue attending to customer requests.
- Unified domain management
- SSL Certificates
- http to https redirection
- Single Sign-on
- We have not found how to see traffic graphs by domain and subdomain.
- Traffic graphs by domain and subdomains
Evaluating DNSimple and Competitors
- Cloud Solutions
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
For us the deciding factor was its ease of use and price
I wouldn't change it, we would continue with the same product.
