Fluid HR tracking and address book
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Eddy is used as our main HR portal for onboarding employees, distributing company procedures, handbook, uploading ID, as well as an address book. Eddy is utilized to track start date, termination dates, store important HR distributions, as well as track mandatory trainings and licenses for our employees. Eddy is used for any employee in our company across multiple departments (lab, courier, CNA, administrative, and executive).
Pros
- Contact information
- Tracking trainings
- Storing HR documents
Cons
- An employee needs to accept the invitation to populate in the onboarding tab
- Documents do not show which documents are pending signature
- As an HR software, it should have a place with labor law updates based on region
Likelihood to Recommend
If you understand the pitfalls of Eddy, such as needing to manually track what has been signed--vs still pending--then it is a well utilized system. Being able to send documents for signature via HelloSign is useful. At one point we had used HelloSign for onboarding but made it made it difficult to transition and track new hires.
