This is best suited whenever a client is looking to ensure consistent, secure delivery with multiple locations involved (on-premise private clouds, public cloud environments from different vendors). Especially when multiple traffic types are present and Network level protection is required (L3/L4 DDoS). But even when simply working to provide more manageable (simplified) ingress strategy for a larger ingress footprint, with design goals of more optimization down the road (more/possible east-west rather than only north-south traffic patterns).

We primarily use F5 Distributed Cloud Network Connect for on prem and cloud applications for campus and some health care computing. Specifically for load balancing. There are some good tools for troubleshooting connectivity and slowness. And to be honest, it's rarely, if ever, the F5. Solid products and I love to see the improvements that have been made.

F5 Distributed Cloud Network Connect has helped provide a single SaaS dashboard for managing network policies, offering end-to-end observability, troubleshooting, and consistent policy enforcement across all sites.

It is well suited for applications which reside in the cloud. We can run a hybrid infrastrucure with some of our Apps in the datacenter and other Applications in the Cloud. F5 Distributed Cloud Network Connect helps secure our cloud applications.

We have three data centers that connected via F5 Distributed Cloud, some BGP filtering/features are not available, when I talked to them our account manager they inform us that will be available down the road. Troubleshoot the issue kinda not easy and it’s hard to find or point where the issue. It has a lot of services and features that make the connection easy to maintain
