It feels old-fashioned but it does the job perfectly!
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Our Technology department uses Fetch to maintain files on our website. It allows us to keep an organized database of files—mostly photos and PDF documents needed by people accessing our website. It's a quick and simple application that requires little training on the user end.
Pros
- Quick uploads
- Easy to access the file links.
- Dependable: Doesn't crash or get hung up during transfers.
Cons
- The UI could use a refresh.
- I'd like to see a place to save connections rather than accessing from "recent connections" every time I open Fetch.
Likelihood to Recommend
We use Fetch alongside our website that's built on WordPress. We have some databases set up on our site that pull from Fetch folders, and in some other places on the site, we simply link to files we have stored on our server through Fetch. There is nothing fancy about Fetch—it just gets the job done!
