Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Whenever customers require premium WordPress hosting we recommend Flywheel. We manage a number of websites on Flywheel’s platform and I have always been impressed with their site management portal—spinning up a new site is really simple. Flywheel support has always been first class—they will even handle migration of an existing site over to their platform for you.

  • Great performance for page loading speeds with easy-to-set-up caching
  • Seamless deployment of local development site to staging or production with Flywheel Local

Flywheel is great for customers who require fast, performant web hosting with the minimum technical overhead. Their website management dashboard is very user-friendly and makes the process of setting up and maintaining a WordPress site about a simple as it gets.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Flywheel to host my design firm's website. I read about them when I saw that WP Engine bought the company. Flywheel offers similar managed hosting features to WP Engine, and I particularly like using Flywheel's test to live environment. Flywheel also effortlessly integrates with Local, so it was a no brainer for me to make the switch to Flywheel from a more barebones shared hosting platform.

It's also perfect for developers who build site's locally on Local and then want an effortless way to import them into their managed hosting environment. Flywheel particularly excels in scenarios where a customer needs managed. WordPress hosting that handles daily backups and offers test and live environments for a reasonable price.
