For live streaming, I would like to see continuous, permanent streams that are not automatically stopped and archived when OBS is shut down – this would greatly simplify the workflow.
What I would like to see are more live streaming features. For example, a dedicated live stage and the ability to combine an OBS stream with live streaming using a VOD video from Gumlet. This would mean I wouldn't have to upload the video via OBS first, but could instead do my presentation in Zoom and then play the video in Gumlet.
Integration with pcloud would be great.
The ability to treat a video like a stream, i.e., to start and stop the video live via a kind of moderator console and to control a playlist so that everyone can see it at the same time without being able to fast-forward or pause, similar to Feedbeo or Mentimeter, where the moderator then unlocks the respective question for everyone.

For hybrid live event formats, where a group watches the same video simultaneously and the flow needs to be perfectly synchronized, Gumlet is, in my opinion, the best solution. Especially in combination with a live Zoom call, Gumlet made our work possible in the first place, because video and audio run smoothly and the quality is automatically adjusted to the viewers' internet connection. If an event depends on everyone finishing at the same time, Gumlet is invaluable. Gumlet is also ideal for online courses and video libraries where high-quality, high-resolution videos need to start without loading time – we are increasingly using it instead of our LMS because the performance is simply much better. Gumlet is currently less suitable if you need permanent live stream channels or want to prepare many live events simultaneously, as streams are currently automatically closed and archived when OBS ends. However, according to support, this feature is already in development. For our use cases, I would recommend Gumlet without hesitation.

I am using Gumlet for a few different projects. I own 2 gyms and I host all of our technique videos and recorded classes here. I integrate those with a Wordpress database so you can search and find the movements you're looking for. I also have online course content hosted here for coach training modules as well as other online webinar and workshops I've done. We've used Vimeo in the past but run into walls with our membership and overall, I enjoy the Gumlet interface more. Feels cleaner and easier to find what you're looking for. I also LOVE that they have a migration tool built.

It might be less appropriate if you were looking for a built in community where people could find you. Something like YouTube is better for that type of discovery. A note here that I like the Gumlet isn't that type of tool YouTube has it's purpose but for things like this, you want the option for privacy.

Given their ability to deliver on these features, I trust they are a great option for other features they advertise. Pricing is fair, in fact below average imo. Definitely a great service for your business.

I recommend all clients host videos using Gumlet as opposed to using free third-party platforms like YouTube or self-hosting on a web host. Gumlet handles video/streaming and image hosting well without a high ticket price. Some clients are averse to spend money on video hosting so we recommend they get on the Gumlet Free Forever plan to get them into the mindset to think about video hosting differently.

The best usages I can think of for Gumlet are actually the current ones I'm doing: 1- To create private videos for your audience (courses, free tutorial, quick tips) 2- To embed videos on your main sites and/or landing pages so you can have it being played with the best performance possible and branded properly.
