I am a psychologist and I mentor other psychologists in building and growing their digital businesses. I use Gumlet as the main tool to host and deliver the recordings of our group supervision and mentoring sessions. Here is how I use it and the problems it solves: Use case and scope:I upload all recorded supervision sessions to Gumlet and then embed the videos inside my mentoring platform (my online course/membership area).Thiss means Gumlet is used for:Video hosting. Video delivery/streaming. Managing access to the content for my clients. Business problems it addresses: It prevents my course platform from being overloaded with large video files and downloads. It improves the performance and speed of my mentoring platform, since the videos are streamed through Gumlet instead of being stored directly on the platform. It makes the upload and publishing process much faster and smoother, which saves me a lot of time in my weekly workflow. Overall, Gumlet allows me to provide a better viewing experience for my clients, keep my platform lightweight, and upload and publish new session recordings very quickly.
Pros
For me, is the Fastest and efficient video uploads and processing platform
Video quality, unbeatable
Security features and the access control, a must
Cons
Regarding the captioning, it may not be as accurate for specialized vocabulary (clinical terms, names, etc.) and the workflow to edit captions in platform can be limited.
Would love to be able to organize large archives of supervision recordings can become cumbersome if metadata fields, tags, or captions aren’t easily searchable.
When you added subtitles for a video and then try to downloaded, you don't get to keep the changes made. Theres room for improvement here.

Well suited: Videos are served from Gumlet's servers, not your course platform, so pages load faster and do'n t crash.
Less appropiate: Gumlet doesn't have in app editing, so you'll have to edit videos somewhere else and reupload.
We use Gumlet for our online courses and a hybrid event format where we connect live as a group via Zoom and simultaneously watch video content together. Videos shared via Zoom often arrive pixelated and choppy, making content creation impossible – especially when everyone needs to watch the same video synchronously and audio quality is crucial. With Gumlet, we can provide videos in very high resolution (up to 4K), and the platform automatically adjusts the quality to the viewers' internet connection. This ensures stable and uninterrupted video and audio, and everyone finishes at the same time before the Zoom call continues. For us, this means a huge improvement in efficiency and, above all, greater reliability, because the user experience directly determines whether people book our events again.Gumlet is increasingly replacing the native video hosting of our LMS, as videos start much faster and play smoothly even with lower bandwidth.
Pros
Watching videos together in a group, synchronously, works perfectly – no stuttering, no pixelation, no audio dropouts, even if someone only has mediocre internet.
The automatic adjustment of video quality to each individual's internet speed ensures that the best quality is always delivered without me having to worry about it.
Videos start instantly and without loading time, which is a huge difference compared to our previous LMS and makes the flow of live events appear relaxed and professional.
Cons
For live streaming, I would like to see continuous, permanent streams that are not automatically stopped and archived when OBS is shut down – this would greatly simplify the workflow.
What I would like to see are more live streaming features. For example, a dedicated live stage and the ability to combine an OBS stream with live streaming using a VOD video from Gumlet. This would mean I wouldn't have to upload the video via OBS first, but could instead do my presentation in Zoom and then play the video in Gumlet.
Integration with pcloud would be great.
The ability to treat a video like a stream, i.e., to start and stop the video live via a kind of moderator console and to control a playlist so that everyone can see it at the same time without being able to fast-forward or pause, similar to Feedbeo or Mentimeter, where the moderator then unlocks the respective question for everyone.
Anbindung an pcloud wäre super.

For hybrid live event formats, where a group watches the same video simultaneously and the flow needs to be perfectly synchronized, Gumlet is, in my opinion, the best solution. Especially in combination with a live Zoom call, Gumlet made our work possible in the first place, because video and audio run smoothly and the quality is automatically adjusted to the viewers' internet connection. If an event depends on everyone finishing at the same time, Gumlet is invaluable.
Gumlet is also ideal for online courses and video libraries where high-quality, high-resolution videos need to start without loading time – we are increasingly using it instead of our LMS because the performance is simply much better.
Gumlet is currently less suitable if you need permanent live stream channels or want to prepare many live events simultaneously, as streams are currently automatically closed and archived when OBS ends. However, according to support, this feature is already in development.
For our use cases, I would recommend Gumlet without hesitation.

What convinced me to stay with Gumlet is the balance between performance and simplicity. The video optimization engine works well, and I can see real improvements in load times. The player customization is enough for my needs without being overwhelming. I also like that the CDN delivery has been consistent across regions, which matters for my audiences in the Gulf, Africa, and Asia. Support responses have been timely too. It’s a reliable platform that has improved my content delivery.
Pros
Video hosting
Image hosting
Video CDN
Cons

I am using Gumlet for a few different projects. I own 2 gyms and I host all of our technique videos and recorded classes here. I integrate those with a Wordpress database so you can search and find the movements you're looking for. I also have online course content hosted here for coach training modules as well as other online webinar and workshops I've done. We've used Vimeo in the past but run into walls with our membership and overall, I enjoy the Gumlet interface more. Feels cleaner and easier to find what you're looking for. I also LOVE that they have a migration tool built.
Pros
Migration from other services (Vimeo)
Clean and easy to use interface
Customizing your channels
Organizing videos
Setting permissions etc
Cons
A tour when you first login (although the tours when you're working with videos are really helpful). Maybe a checklist to get started?
More customization of your profile (or users)

Gumlet would be a great product for anyone looking for video hosting. This includes people doing things like I am, storing videos to embed on your site or for use in online courses. It might be less appropriate if you were looking for a built in community where people could find you. Something like YouTube is better for that type of discovery. A note here that I like the Gumlet isn't that type of tool YouTube has it's purpose but for things like this, you want the option for privacy.
Presenting videos to clients through proposals and emails, embedding them on website, and securely hosting videos for online courses to prevent unauthorized sharing. This product uniquely addresses the latter issue compared to competitors and also provides ample storage space for videos at competitive prices.
Pros
streaming videos in 4K
protecting videos
video storage for online courses
great support
Cons
player branding - instead of adding logo url, just make users to upload the logo
clarify the concept of collections vs video library
improve sharing by email to include animated gif of the video instead of still image

It's perfect for course creators to embed in their Learning Management Systems (LMS) because of its innovative protection features. It also supports 4K playback and is an excellent choice for embedding on websites, as it avoids the risk of competitor commercials that can appear with YouTube. Additionally, it's a great option for embedding in proposals, as it avoids the issue of YouTube sometimes not playing videos and displaying a "login to prove you are not a bot" message.

Gumlet was the perfect solution for us because we needed to privately host video on a fast streaming platform while protecting the rights of the video. One of the selling points was the ability to also brand the player to match our website and branding. These features aren't offered from major players in the market.
Pros
Video hosting
Video Privacy & DRM
Custom branded player
Incredible load speed
Cons
Integration with Wordpress was lacking imo
Would love an elementor integration

Everything Gumlet claims to do works. DRM, video hosting and customization are features I have used and can recommend. Given their ability to deliver on these features, I trust they are a great option for other features they advertise. Pricing is fair, in fact below average imo. Definitely a great service for your business.
We are hosting videos for our and our clients' websites on the platform. This includes both decorative and authoritative videos since web hosting is typically not optimal for hosting and streaming videos. We were looking for a video hosting solution since many clients want to use videos in their website hero sections, and came across Gumlet at an opportune time.
Pros
Video hosting
Image Hosting
Stream videos
Cons
More streamlined UI
Improve webhook setup
Add native integrations for automations

I recommend all clients host videos using Gumlet as opposed to using free third-party platforms like YouTube or self-hosting on a web host. Gumlet handles video/streaming and image hosting well without a high ticket price. Some clients are averse to spend money on video hosting so we recommend they get on the Gumlet Free Forever plan to get them into the mindset to think about video hosting differently.
Using Gumlet for video hosting of our educational platform with DRM protection. Other features like custom video player, dynamic watermark feature & user tracking gives good overview of whats happening with your content. I got lifetime deal via appsumo so it was great investment overall. Only negative thing i found is Gumlet doesnt have DRM protection in lower end plans. Otherwise it's very best service.
Pros
DRM protection for proprietary videos
Customised video player
Learning management videos support
Cons
Pricing plan and DRM in lower end plans

Gumlet is best if you have large content to protect for piracy and security. If you have small content then it becomes very expensive to manage in the given pricing plan for business plans.
Gumlet has essentially become the video backbone that ties together multiple parts of our workflow. We use it to host, protect, organize and publish every type of video we produce, from customer onboarding and training sessions to marketing campaigns, internal knowledge sharing and product demos. What started as a simple need for a reliable hosting solution quickly turned into adopting Gumlet as our full video infrastructure because it solved issues we didn’t even realize were slowing us down.
Before Gumlet, we dealt with a mix of slow playback, buffering on certain devices, and manual workarounds that kept piling up as our video library grew. We were also constantly worried about content security, especially for videos that contain proprietary information or paid content. Gumlet addressed all of this immediately. The streaming performance alone was a huge upgrade—videos load fast, adapt to different network conditions without hiccups, and look professional no matter where they’re embedded. This had an immediate impact on customer perception and reduced the number of support tickets we’d receive about video access.
One of the biggest business problems Gumlet helped us solve was content protection. With DRM, dynamic watermarking, domain and geo restrictions, plus secure tokens, we finally had the confidence that our videos were being viewed by the right people and not being copied or shared externally. This is crucial for us because some of our content is either monetized or contains sensitive information. Gumlet essentially gave us peace of mind without adding extra complexity.
Another major area where Gumlet supports us is efficiency. Managing videos used to require jumping between different tools for subtitles, organization, analytics and embeds. Now everything is in one place. The AI subtitle generator alone saved us hours every week, improving accessibility and making multilingual content more feasible. The CMS keeps everything structured, indexed and easy to locate, which matters a lot as our library continues to grow. Interactive video features like chapters, CTAs and quizzes are helping us turn passive viewers into engaged users, which directly supports our marketing and onboarding goals.
Overall, Gumlet helps us deliver a polished, secure, and scalable video experience without needing a dedicated engineering team to maintain it. It supports multiple departments, solves real operational bottlenecks, and gives us room to grow without worrying about the limitations of our video platform. It has genuinely become one of the tools we rely on every day.
Pros
Digital Rights Management (DRM) to prevent unauthorized use and piracy
Buffering / Load speed
Hyper-Customization
Ease of sharing / embedding
Cons
Ability to create an entire Landing page with each uploaded video
Automatic Video Transcription
Advanced Options over video for CTAs and Lead Generation

The best usages I can think of for Gumlet are actually the current ones I'm doing: 1- To create private videos for your audience (courses, free tutorial, quick tips) 2- To embed videos on your main sites and/or landing pages so you can have it being played with the best performance possible and branded properly.
We use Gumlet in our organization primarily for hosting, securing, and streaming videos. The platform helps us address several business challenges, such as optimizing video performance to ensure it is buffer-free. The DRM feature allows us to protect the videos from being stolen. Custom branding allows us to use our own branding on the videos.
Pros
Best Video Hosting
Custom Branding at each collection Level
Multiple collections and video CMS
DRM Protection
Cons
Some technical functions can be simplified
User Access walkthrough
Better stream manager
