HALO Recognition--a heavenly program
HALO Recognition is being used across the whole organization. It addressed the immediate need for recognition on peer and leader levels. It has also addressed the need to have a one-stop recognition program that offered employees the opportunity to select their own individual awards.

- A variety of gift awards including great gift card selection
- Great marketing team that helped us launch the program and they keep things up to date
- Our HALO program fits our needs due to the expertise of the HALO representatives
- Increased employee morale
- Instant recognition when someone went beyond the call of duty
- HALO helped design a program portal to recognize employees who dealt with COVID-19 cases.

An Excellent Reward Program
We use HALO to provide anniversary gifts for all employees in 5-year increments. HR is in charge of sending the file to Halo, and it is used by employees across all departments within our organization. HALO helps solve a lot of the administrative burdens that can arise from implementing such a program on your own. Employees receive a variety of items to choose from. In addition, they receive a nice commemorative pin and an award certificate.

I have not personally utilized other companies. The only experience I have is in providing employees with a Rolex Watch at 10 years which were purchased by administrative assistants and then handled outside of HR to deal with the taxes. This was at a company where there were thousands of employees. Other companies where I have worked have just provided gift certificates. Working with HALO is really the first time I have utilized an outside company to manage a program like this.
