Heimdal Email Security 365 is an MX record-based spam filter and anti-malware solution that secures the company’s email communications. Just like Heimdal's DNS Network Security, Heimdal Email Security sits on top of the server and does not require installation on each endpoint.

The solution defends against phishing, malware, and other email-borne threats to protect M365 or Google Workspace environments. It offers anti-spam protection, botnet protection, advanced malware filtering, protection against DNS hijacking, phishing protection, threat tracing & full audit log, social security number leakage detection (US, UK, DK, DE), personal quarantine report, 90-day email retention, deep attachment scanner, deep content inspection.

The infrastructure is hosted on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform (West Europe - Amsterdam, North Europe - Ireland, South India, East US - Virginia).

Heimdal’s Email Security solution comes with DNSSEC and DANE/TLSA support for inbound SMTP services.

For increased protection, an upgrade to Email Security Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is available. This adds advanced sandboxing, safe execution, in-depth forensic and AI-powered fraud prevention capabilities.

Heimdal delivers true unification through a modular approach. Users can start with Email Security 365 and instantly turn on additional modules like PAM, DNS filtering, or endpoint protection as needs arise.
