HID DigitalPersona is like a security system for our organisation because there are lots of data related to our business that need to be secured from our competitions and online fraudsters so we use this platform to provide a additional production to our computer systems and cloud based servers which give a extra protection other than having a normal password.

Pros

The software make sure that all of our website and web application login details are secured
The quality of login method has also improved with the help of HID DigitalPersona as now we are using fingerprints and biometric scans for the complete login
The software has secured all of our computer systems, laptops and mobile devices that are working for our business

Cons

One of the main challenge with HID DigitalPersona is that the installation is quite Complex and the completeintegration will take more than 15 to 20 days
The solutions are capital centric for biometric scanners and finger print readers we need extra hardware devices and this can add extra cost in a small organisation
The quality of support team of this software is not that great

We have been using HID DigitalPersona for more than 3 years now and one of the best part of this tool is that it is completely cloud based and it safeguards our servers, systems and personal data so it has been one of the most important software for our business so far. It is just little complex to install and costly to maintain otherwise it is a great tool

As we are working in a Startup named [...] and we frequently interact with different type of data and business details that needs to be secured and prevented from fraustars and hackers and with the help of HID DigitalPersona we are able to lock all the data with dual authentication and better security systems

Pros

Keeps all the business data private
Uses multiple Factor authentication for high security
Can be accessed from different type of digital devices like mobile phones and laptops

Cons

There is no proper Android based application available of this tool
The user interface can also be little simple and friendly so that new users can understand about its each and every features
Installation and configuration is expensive and complex

I would like to give it a rate of 8 stars out of 10 and will definitely like to recommend it to my colleagues as the level of security system that HID DigitalPersona has builted for our business is outstanding and it definitely help us in securing our data from internal leakage

Sales time in generating different type of passwords for different types of files
Keep our business data safe from frauds and online hackers

Cons

The complete installation and configuration of this tool is really complex
The user interface is also quite traditional
Along with its premium plan it's needs to have a fingerprint scanner for security and this is an extra cost

We use Digital Persona for our MFA solution. It allows us to have a wide variety of authentication options and combinations for our users. This has allowed for a faster and more secure way for users to sign into to any workstations quickly. It also has a decent password manager builtin that can allow users a safe place to store sensitive credentials.

Pros

Provides a good Password Management Solution
Provides effective MFA options
Good Documentation for Admins

Cons

Better Licensing, currently forced to purchase 25 licenses at substantial cost per license.
Improved Password Manager UI and maybe a decent browser add-on to go with it.
Support for wider variety or authentication devices.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to set up two-factor without re-inventing the wheel. It has a simple setup that allows you a large amount of flexibility in setting policies. If you have the budget for the solution, it is a good option. However, if you are on a tight budget, then this solution can get expensive when you need to add licenses. The one-time fee charged for each new license is crazy expensive.

HID DigitalPersona is a high security based platform that helps us in doing multiple logins not only through passwords but also through retina scans, finger prints, facial recognitions and many other ways. This platform help us in doing the two factor authentication of each and every employee who is visiting the office and accessing all the business data it is one of the most important tool that handle all of our business information on their cloud server.

Provides multiple secured login methods
Also supports windos and IOS devices
Also has two-factor authentication for security

Cons

Technical help is required for the complete configuration of this tool
Sometimes it doesn't read the input method like fingerprints and facial recognitions
Software is little costly to maintain in long run

HID DigitalPersona is high grade security enhancement tool that is helping us in safeguarding our data from hackers and fraudsters it also adds fingerprints and other biometric data in our devices so that login becomes faster, easier and smoother at the same time. It also upgrade the security management of our business and blocks the unauthorised access of any of our device.

Pros

Digital lock for protection of all types of computer and mobile devices.
The multiple users helps to share data along with our team and give them accessibility of login
A reliable tool for minimising the expenses of managing business data and daily updates

Cons

The set-up of this tool took us 13 days and was quite expensive as per the value it is providing
It has very limited features for providing biometric lock but there it is no any advanced security features available

All of our employees working in the office login their mobile and windos devices with the help of this tool just in few seconds. For our small Franchise this software is a wastage of money and time as their is no need upgraded security beacuse they don't have data available there which needs extra third party security.

It also provides mobile and remote access. It can integrate with mobile devices and remote access solutions to ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive data.

Under heavy loads many users attempting to authenticate simultaneously
limited support for MacOS and linux environment
high initial cost for hardware, especially for large deployments

In our company, we completely rely on HID DigitalPersona to add an extra layer of security for logging in. It's like a 2-step or MFA verification process, which makes it much harder for hackers to steal our data and everyone can log in easily with their fingerprint or with their phone.

Cons

It's a premise-based solution that works best for large corporations and might be pricey for small businesses.
I coudn't see anything else more as a place for improvement

Strong Security (MFA) , Flexibility and Ease of Use are the key points which I can consider and reduces traditional password complexity stuffs . It is important to consider factors like cost and IT resource requirements for implementation before making a final decision. I am not sure if an startup business can afford HID DigitalPersona .

HiD digital persona helps manage both the network and the login system on the premises. It's a really strong tool that we employ for identification and access management, and thus far, it has not disappointed us. Using this tool, we may access entering the use of biometrics in the application, which protects the data of the client as well as the business.

Pros

Biometric security.
Several login options.
Passwords are not necessary to remember.

Cons

It offers more customization options and configurable configuration parameters.
Fingerprints are not always accurate.

Likelihood to Recommend

It works well for authentication using biometrics if your setup allows scanning. It is among the greatest techniques for authenticating with digital personas. Altus has proven to be an honest VPN provider.
