Impact makes it easy for us to manage affiliate and referral relationships. The biggest challenge is often having to login to separate accounts. This can take a lot of time and be confusing to keep track of. Impact makes it easy to identify opportunities and to apply, without the need to have to manage separate applications and accounts.

Cons

  • If you have multiple accounts, they can be difficult to distinguish between.
  • Customer service can be hit or miss.
  • If you have questions or issues or are denied, it can be difficult to understand why, so that you can adjust and re-apply.

If you want to identify and apply to multiple affiliate, referral or influencer opportunities, Impact makes it easy to manage these different accounts from one dashboard. This can save time and help keep track of an opportunity. This helps to streamline all of the programs you are part of so you can see what you are part of and also which ones you have applied for.

We wanted to diversify our revenue channels and utilize Impact for affiliate marketing.

  • Contract with NO way out, NOT a good fit for SMB

Likelihood to Recommend

For large/corporate companies, Impact is probably a good fit. However, for a small/medium business like mine, I would NOT recommend it. I joined Impact 7 months ago and unfortunately, we are not seeing a positive return on investment. We have tried many partnerships through the platform and we've decided after 6 months, that we would like to cancel our membership since we are not being able to be profitable. I was shocked to discover how this big company does not really care about your results or success as a business, as they mentioned we are not allowed to cancel our membership. I've been trying until now to contact them but with no success. I'm still on Impact and honestly, really suffering from it.

We use Impact to organize our affiliate relationships, we are trying to get our affiliates more organized and better promoted and impact is a great way of doing that. It is a great way to document and keep up with communication and keeping track of our clicks and sign ups through with those affiliates relationships.

Based on our experience with impact so far I would say that it is well suited for any company that is looking for a great way of organizing and promoting affiliates as a way of making money and promoting businesses that they like to work with, we have felt much more organized and able to get a good idea of how well each company is doing.

We found Impact when we were looking for a reliable and easy-to-use tool for affiliate and influencer marketing. We use Impact to connect with global advertisers. There are very few reliable networks that offer multiple region campaigns, Impact is one of them, it allows running global campaigns directly using a single Impact account.

  • It has transparency in conversions
  • Payments and tracking are done in timely manner
  • Campaign's terms are mentioned properly
  • Conversion report section is also good

Cons

  • On-Boarding process could be improved
  • API documentation is not well explained, they could also provide some sort of tutorials
  • Monthly campaign updates are generally delayed

Impact is famous in the industry of affiliate and influencer marketing. It might be used easily by social media influencers, youtubers, cashback or coupon offering apps or websites, relevant blogs, etc. It might not be well suited for startups having low number of end users or having a few employees.

Impact (formerly Impact Radius) is being used as an affiliate network in our organization. We fetch ongoing deals in the affiliate marketing industry using their various tools. We connect and partners with the advertisers using Impact. It helps us to solve out many issues arising in many use cases related to affiliate and influencer marketing.

  • We can easily find many number of campaigns according to our requirements.
  • They offer advertisers to manually approve or reject new publishers.
  • Campaign details are provided in transparent manner.
  • Tracking and reporting time is also competitive.

Cons

  • We have to apply individually on all the campaigns.
  • API implementation is a little bit complex.
  • They could work on the updation of documentation to increase the transparency as well as easing the implementation process.

Likelihood to Recommend

Impact is well known in the market as it is reliable, efficient and useful tool. It offers many regional and global campaigns, so it might be useful for the publishers who have different kind of target audience as well as who wants to expand their business in multi nationals. It might not that useful for cashback and coupon offering affiliate marketers.

Impact is a well-known tool in the field of affiliate or influencer marketing. We are also using it in our organization for many years to give special offers to our end users in a monetary format. We use its various APIs to get current running offers and promote these among our users.

  • Impact has so many campaigns running and these are available in nearly all regions
  • Quality of offers are much better comparing to its competitors
  • Campaigns descriptions and other Terms are mentioned clearly
  • Tracking is fast

Cons

  • User interface could be a little upgraded
  • Must apply to all the advertisers individually and wait for their approval
  • They should simplify the on boarding process

Likelihood to Recommend

According to me, Impact might not be suited well for small publishers or having less experience in the field of influencer or affiliate marketing, on the other hand, it is good for experienced publishers or publishers with global customer sets, as they have so many campaigns for different countries. However, one could definitely give it a try.

Easy way to track affiliate referrals!

I am a user on the platform - I am an affiliate for a piece of software I use and this is how the referral links are tracked and how I get paid.

Pros

  • Very easy to get paid
  • Easy to share referral link
  • Easy to view how many clicks your link has had

Cons

  • The platform is slightly dated.
  • There is a lot of data which can be overwhelming.
  • The marketplace is a bit overwhelming with so many brands. Where to start??

Impact has been a great platform to track my affiliate links on. There are many brands so if I had more than one, it would be an easy, single place to track all (at the moment I'm only with one brand although I'd love to find more!). It is easy to get paid, they just pay directly to your bank account when you reach the minimum. Because there are so many brands, however, it's hard to know where to start to find other ones to represent.

We are in the industry of affiliate marketing and we use it for the same as well. We are a Publisher at Impact and we are using it for many years as of now. It has so many offers and advertisers on a global level, so we can start the work easily.

Pros

  • Huge number of offers and advertisers to choose from
  • Support system is also good
  • Tracking and reporting is reliable

Cons

  • User interface could be improved a little, as it is a quite difficult task to find the content or links
  • Approval from the advertisers sometimes takes a huge amount of time. If they can somehow reduce the response time, it will be great
  • New affiliates might find the onboarding process a little difficult

Likelihood to Recommend

Impact brands that it welcomes new affiliates, but I would not suggest it to the new affiliates with no (or less) prior experience of affiliate industry. Experienced affiliates could easily manage everything here, like on-boarding process, delayed payments, etc. But if you are new in the industry of affiliate marketing and wants to try Impact, just start with a one or two campaigns at first.
