Infor Nexus has been crucial in providing End to End Visibility of the Shipments encompassing, Shipment information, milestones transmitted by 3rd party forwarders, Warehouse Stock Mangement and availability and control tower visibility that allows user to choose the right location of the goods to be supplied that is most economical and earliest transit time.
- Allows connectivity of EDI with 3rd party forwarder to transmit shipment data and milestones against the shipments
- Choosing the most economical and quickest routing for a purchase order
- Allows integration with SAP, Oracle, external service providers easily to make single source of truth for the operational information
- GUI is not as user friendly as it should be, and a training is required
- Filtering of shipments are not easy and intuitive to user, and it is a bit problematic to find details when a limited information is available to search
- Creating new methodology of report template require new development which require investment
- It definitely creates value and enables user to reduce turn around time for reporting
- It helps to reduces the resources used to create manual reports with high data accuracy

It is better in integration with 3rd party service providers and quick turn around time and dedicated error resolution in receiving the data. We had inhouse SME from Infor Nexus team which allows quick development cycle and faster implementation. It allows visibility of milestones which is not available in SAP TM.
