Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I develop e-learning modules and quizzes using iSpring Suite.

I encountered an issue when publishing a quiz from the Suite to the LMS platform.

The technical support team guided me through the process with great patience until I was able to resolve the problem.

Highly recommended!

Pros

  • Creating e-learning modules
  • Developing courses
  • Quizzes

Cons

  • The interface for integrating quizzes into external learning modules that are uploaded as a single course into the software.

Likelihood to Recommend

iSpring Suite is well suited for developing interactive courses for learning management systems (LMS).

At the moment, I don’t have a scenario where it is less appropriate.

Intuitive Powerpoint-based course creation

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have created several cyber security trainings for our employees in multiple languages using iSpring Suite and found it quite intuitive and easy to use.

Pros

  • smooth integration into PowerPoint
  • text-to-speech function for easy creation of multilingual courses
  • SCORM export for publishing in an LMS (e.g. Moodle)
  • different quiz formats for interactive user experience
  • good quality of answers to support requests and good responsiveness of the iSpring Suite support team

Cons

  • it is a bit tricky to find out where the quiz you are editing is stored
  • while an iSpring Suite dialog is open, you cannot switch back to PowerPoint to lookup something

Likelihood to Recommend

iSpring Suite is well suited in our case where only few authors need to collaborate on the courses. It does well for creating PowerPoint based courses (with animations done in PowerPoint) and Speech-to-Text from speaker comments for courses in multiple languages.

When I reported an issue I had with the course completion setting, the iSpring Suite support team provided me a workaround on short notice and offered a permanent solution within few days. Great!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

iSpring Suite has been an ally of our company and me for the last six years. The flexibility of the features allowed us to create engaging and dynamic content to spearhead all internal development programs. Thanks to the presentations, simulations, quizzes, and animations that come with iSpring Suite tools, we have graduated wave after wave of leaders ready to lead teams and transmit the knowledge we provide. Even our clients see the quality of our content and request that we create material for internal training with it.

  • Inmediate feedback on answers
  • Randomizing questions order

Cons

  • transparent backgrounds bug when exported

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use iSpring to create online courses. The disadvantage is that you cannot prevent students from advancing through the slides during interactions, or give them the option to turn on subtitles.

Pros

  • It has a very good variety of quizzes.
  • The interaction designs are good.
  • The characters in the role plan can be improved.

Cons

  • The role plan is one of the key elements you should pay close attention to. It's fundamental and outdated.
  • There isn't much variety in characters or places.

Likelihood to Recommend

The advantage is that you can update each slide independently when you want to make an update, and the voice integration is good.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this to make training quizzes and courses for our staff. Mostly for warehouse and driver positions.

Pros

  • User friendly power-point based quiz making
  • AI document summarizing and quick quiz-making
  • Easy to make engaging content.

Cons

  • Sometimes going between the main iSpring Suite, the powerpoint add-on and the web site depending on what your current need is can be confusing at first.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it's great for quick and thorough quiz and content creation. It's very handy if you already have a lot of documentation (like SOPs and Policies) that you want to make a quiz or course out of, or help to make them more engaging and readable.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I created [...], my popular online business broker training system, using iSpring Suite. It is easy to use, has lots of professional features, and easy to update. Recently I decided to upgrade my 59 learning modules with video narrations. The player formatting is customizable and I can update the PowerPoint slides without the need to update the video; what a timesaver? The support personnel are very responsive and precise.

Pros

  • Easy to change formats
  • Easy to add narration
  • Quizzes and natural and easy to update

Cons

  • Perhaps allow the learner to toggle back and forth between narrated and without
  • Quiz answers are sometimes too precise. For example, if the answer has a period the end and the learner doesn’t think to put the periods, then the answer is incorrect

Likelihood to Recommend

This is an intuitive course design program. It has many features I do not use, but I bet some designers would love them.

The best e-learning program.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use iSpring to create e-learning courses for my clients - these complement the classroom training courses I deliver. Participants do them in between classroom training. In this way, they repeat the knowledge. In addition, I create training courses here, quizzes that I use as a competition during organised safety days. iSpring is updated frequently, new characters and templates appear, which is important to me. I hope that new quiz types will be added soon.

Pros

  • easy to learn
  • quizzes and interactions are very important for me

Cons

  • I would need more types of quizzes
  • more figures and photos from the safety area, e.g. forklift operator, machine operator, driver

Likelihood to Recommend

The programme will find application in all industries. For many people, however, it may be too expensive in Poland - unfortunately, we do not earn as much here as in the UK or Germany.
